That would be Gerry Groom. Duanes protege. He's the guy who says "I'll show you a little trick". Groom has a couple awesome albums with some great acoustic slide. Ps. I'm the dude who had the duane allman archives channel

It was interesting to hear the nascent "Rambling Man" before it was finished and recorded for 'Brothers and Sisters' in October-December 1972. I'd heard about these recordings, but had never actually heard them. Very cool!

First time I met the ABB was in Bham in 1969 at the Oporto armory. Battle of bands. I was fifteen and my friends (guitar players) were twenty. Great day, never forget and I have always been a fan.

There are not many rare jams videos with Duane, some day will be recognized between the bests guitar man of all times as hendrix robert johnson and clapton, this material become gold

Alexander Henry Duanes ear subconsciously tuned to the delta blues of the south. He knew the caliber of musicians he needed to put together.... he had a God gifted talent that the rest of us were blessed to hear. As the preceding messages note... he will be noted as one of the greatest of this caliber, that’s why 50 years later we continue to love him. One can only imagine what he would have achieved had he lived out his years!

Great personal look into the only man to ever make me cry! If there was a Faustian dilemma, I hope you can see how much you have moved people, it sure sounds superhuman to me, the only live show I have ever known that was performed flawlessly, Fillmore East is the greatest live recording by a full band, and especially Mountain Jam with Duane and Dickie and Berry hovering right at the pinnacle of soulful performance. I only wish Mephistopheles could have been tricked, But if Duane and Berry were the ultimate sacrifice, at least the incredible music of the finest hour in music history was not in vain. My Band was called Mountain Jam, and my brother owns a kite business and leads a band called Skydog.... Long live Duane Allman, perhaps the most tragic figure to ever live fast and die young..... Thank you for the joyful tears!
