My hubby works in a morgue embalming and such. From what he’s told me, you get smashed in that bad…you’re being picked up in pieces or at the very least you’re coming in slightly flatter, or your face is frozen in time with how you reacted when you saw the crash coming and that can be unsettling. The cop was probably trying to keep the daughter from seeing that hence why he’s pulling her arm…you don’t wanna be seeing that kinda thing. This guy is pissed off face. No sympathy for him.

Yeah I’ve been hit twice in a hit & run & had an old man pull onto an interstate barely moving while I was 55+. Only time I felt safe was when that old guy pulled out because I had a bigger vehicle to take a hit. Sedans feel squishy

He could be drunk or he could have a head injury and not know it. Honestly they should have taken him straight to the hospital and did blood and urine to prove either way. Then it would be concrete evidence on top of the field test. That would give the best evidence. He works at a bar so has an excuse to smell like alcohol hence having to do the blood and urine test. He should have gotten at least 20 years. It's ridiculous. My family was nearly killed by a drunk driver on her 2nd dwi after she got drunk at a bar. She passed out and I ran the light trying to avoid her coming up behind us. She pushed another car under my SUV then pushed us into a brick sign 60 yards down the road. Cops told me if I hadn't ran the light everyone involved would have died. The fact that I was moving and continued to try to accelerate is the only reason anyone lived. She almost killed 8 ppl. She didn't even go to prison. I still have injuries from that accident. That's why I was saying immediately demand blood and urine test with field test. I lived in a different state and wasn't informed of her trial date. I don't think ppl who do this should get plea deal without victims agreeing to it.

Not good enough.. he murdered another human. I don’t consider Choosing to drive completely wasted & then killing someone as an “Accident”. It’s a choice to drink and drive and he knew the risks just like the rest of us do🤷🏻‍♀️
