The Homosexuals seem to be one of those bands that, although very few seem to know about them, everyone who does will always bring them up as some of the best stuff ever put to disc. I personally heard of them through 'Total Drop' which was put alongside R Stevie Moore on the Recommended Records sampler 7" EP.
