Girl I'm right there with you. I have an 05 and it's the best car ever considering I've always had sort model of Honda. I was do disappointed when they stopped making them I just knew I get another one. I've actually encountered random people asking if I'd like to sell it. Additionally it is a beast in the snow. I travel for art fairs and every everything fits with room to spare.

I have a 2005 with the 5 speed manual and all wheel drive. Rust free at 217,000 miles. It's the most reliable car I've ever had over 200,000 miles. All parts I had to replace are parts expected to be worn out at this mileage. I'll continue repairing it as long as practical or until Honda makes a new Element. There is nothing else in the marketplace like it. PS: ventilation in the Element is great, your video is obviously biased and not based in actual significant experience with the car.

I’ve owned a Nissan Sentra, Civic hatch, CRX, MR2, Subaru Forester and now an Element. The visibility on the E is totally fine and I’ve never felt like it was hard looking out the back or sides while driving. If anything it’s the A pillars that are a bit thick.

No tools required for seat removal. Good review, but scoring is misplaced. I’ve camped in it, hauled mowers, recliners, 55” flat screens etc. It has incredible resale value if properly maintained. The floor is genius, and it’s a DIY mechanics dream. It’s not a family hauler, so it shouldn’t compared to other raised station wagons. This is truly a sports utility vehicle minus the high ground clearance and power of an off roader.

You're mis-informed. The rear seats require no tools for removal. The dealers said the floor can be mopped not hosed out. Additionally, while there are no A/C vent in the back/other than under the seats, the cabin size is relatively small and in 13 years of ownership, have never received a complaint on the temperature. Its highly reliable, and yes its utilitarian. and in your video you say the rear seat is up, when in fact it had been removed.

This. I have an '03 and the seats don't require any tools to remove. Takes about 2 minutes to get both out. Also, if you read the manual, it tells you where the air vents are and I've never had complaints either. The only one I've had was the moon roof. Other than that, everyone loves the stadium seating in my car and I love the fact I can go camping and not die of sweltering humidity in it. The natural airflow is awesome.

I bought one used for my son for high school/college and I ended up driving it. This is a great first car for a young driver--safe and relatively slow. They can't get into too much trouble in this. They can also put in all their stuff and go off to college. Drawbacks are the thick A pillars and crappy visibility all round on passenger side and back. Reliability is bulletproof. Bought my 2010 with 45K and put on 80k (125k total). Beside normal maintenance by the book including valve adjustment at or near 100k I have only replaced brakes, tires and battery. Also had throttle body cleaning which helps it run smoother. Also try to buy one 2007 or newer as seats were improved in 2007 and are now more durable. 2006 and older seats will tear at 80,000-100,000 miles

@@SaleProofCarReviews since Elements are very rapidly becoming cult vehicles, and much beloved by many that may already be happening. I have heard a rumor that Honda is reintroducing the Element in 2021, which might change things a bit. So far I have heard they will be basically the same with but with more power. 200 horsepower normally aspirated, and a turbo version as well. I have also heard the plastic fenders and front ends will not be recreated.

How can you comment on something you've never owned or driven? Purchased new 2011 4WD EX now with 72,000 miles, great little roomy SUV, easy driving, rough riding - compared to my 2016 Pilot or 2003 Odyssey. We had an early one, had its fair share of engine light triggers, sensors...oxygen, abs, more than once and a $650 tps (because its one piece with the throttlebody! ugh). Burst brake hose on the highway was a real eyeopener. Starter is in bad spot as is the oil filter. I know nothings' perfect but cmon, with all that room that could have been done better. Electrical system in general had irs gremlins, lights would brighten and dim (slightly) and blower fan worked when it wanted to, heat or a/c. The key was burning hot when you shut off the car and removed it. Dealers never had explainations. But where Honda went willy-nilly was a weak suspension. Had to be borrowed from a Civic. We had all struts replaced, bushings, stabilizer ends, and an entire control arm in one instance. The fact that the load capacity is like 600lbs is no surprise. It also wore tires unevenly. It was bought new by us so no previous abuse. Very accomodating & flexible interior, and yes dont hose the interior. Salesmen are such liers and will say anything.

*factoid, the rear door acts as a b-pillar, its literally structural. Thats why its half the size of the front doir but double the weight. 👌💪 Actually a bit of engineering in those back half-doors, its also why you only get a pop-out windows, because the inside of that door is heavily reinforced and there is no room for a window regulator.
