Sometimes I wonder if they knew when they wrote, composed, and recorded Karla With A K that it was really one of the best songs ever made. I kinda think they did. So underrated, and some other masterpieces like Brother Don't You Walk Away and Fightin on the Same Side. I had a friend in Serbia who told me that they were huge there, which made me happy. I guess they were popular in Germany too. The Hooters and The Alarm are two of the great bands of the 1980s that deserved a lot more attention. But in 2019 the music still lives. Bravo.

Fantastic song and lyrics, especially the epic mandolin and accordion riff....loved this song ever since it was released in 1987...these guys are like a precursor to Mumford and Sons and the Lumineers...fantastic roots rock

I was on a HOOTERS Concert in our town last week. I love them and their great music. I listen to the HOOTERS since 1994....💗 They are down to earth, have a wonderful sound and a very kind sense of humor. 😊😄 The next concert will be mine again 😁😍

I was a 21 year old kid when I moved to NYC from ND, I saw them at a bar in Bucks county Pennsylvania (I believe the bar was called central park) they put on one of the best shows I've ever seen!! Love this band!!

In Germany and Serbia they became really popular. When I found out this made me very happy. They are from Scranton PA which is the same kind of rust belt town as Rochester. I always felt they captured a local flavor

One of the most UNDERRATED bands in history. Terrific musicians, Rob and Eric are top quality song writers (I believe they wrote Cindy Lauper's Time After Time or another one of her hits). This live performance captures what an outstanding band they were (& probably still are). I have the Nervous Night, One Way Home and Zig Zag albums which I believe are great albums. So many fantastic songs such as the big hit (but not as big as it should have been!) Satellite, Karla With A K, Johnny B, Brother Don't You Walk Away, Mr Big Baboon, 500 Miles She Comes In Colours, One Way Home, Deliver Me, Engine 999 and the wonderful All You Zombies, there are plenty of others too, A GREAT BAND.

+Rüdiger Hasenpusch Das kann ich nur bestätigen ! Bevor die Hooters zu dir kamen waren sie bei uns hier im Ulmer Zelt in Ulm. Ich stand direkt vor der Bühne und es war mir möglich wirklich gute Videos aufzunehmen. Ich habe sie wegen Copyright bisher nur nicht veröffentlicht obwohl ich glaube jeder sollte diese Band sehen die schon 1985 in Philadelphia beim grandiosen Live Aid Konzeret gespielt hat !

Eric Bazilian absolute Weltklasse und Rob Hyman am Keyboard und Gesang und Akkordeon suchen Ihresgleichen !!! Daß Rob Hyman u. a. die Songs für Cindy Lauper aus den 80ern und auch für Bon Jovi komponierte wissen wohl die Wenigsten.... Ich bin schwer beeindruckt von den Hooters, Leute gönnt euch das auf JEDEN Fall !!!!!

Schön zu sehen (und zu hören) dass sie neben dem durchaus langweiligen All you Zombies und Orivate Emotion Kram auch wirklich tolle Lieder gemacht haben! Day bay Day gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut. Schon komisch, was manchmal für ein Mist promoted wird, und die richtig tollen Sachen bleiben irgendwo auf der Strecke.
