Fun fact: Dreamwork's Madagascar is a rip off of Disney’s “The Wild”. Most people think Madagascar was made first however, "The Wild" was being worked on since 1991. Dreamworks caught wind of this and rushed a lower budget version of the movie, so they could steal Disney's sales.

That…actually sounds legit. Say what you will about The Wild, but at the very least, it looked far better animated than Madagascar. As for me? I have only seen bits and pieces of The Wild and have no real opinion on it. But after hearing that fun fact from you, geez that movie was treated dirty.

There is a bootleg that tried ripping off Shrek. It’s a movie from 2007 named “Donkey Xote” or “Aeslet” that features a donkey who looks very similar to Donkey from Shrek. The tagline for the movie is “from the producers who saw Shrek.”

One of the A Car's Life movies was dubbed and telecasted here in Sri Lanka. I remember me and my brother wondering who in the right mind thought that this would be a good movie to telecast on a TV channel as a "kids' holiday special". They even put time and effort into dubbing it!

I remember years ago my mother went to Poundland and came home with an animated movie called Trolland, presumably being made to market of Trolls but damn was it different than we thought. We are talking non-animated hands, practically every asset being reused and poorly overlayed on a background filled with clipping errors. All topped off with a main character with a voice that’s unwittingly deep for someone 2 foot tall and proportioned like a smurf. It’s one of the lesser known ripoffs but if you want a good laugh or are interested in these dumpster fire movies then I highly recommend it!

I went online to find the budget for a car's life, and I instead found this one review for the movie that made me die laughing. They mentioned that films like Schneider's List (that's how the review spells it) couldn't compare to this, and that the animation was fluent and smooth throughout and there is "definitely no clipping or glitching in the animation at all." After their conclusion they said that the movie was great for the whole family, and then the rest of it is about half a page worth of what I can only predict was either them smashing their head against the keyboard, or they got abducted by the Bye Bye Man and then that was left in the chat as a result! I don't know if it was sarcastic or not, but I was dying when I reached the end of it!

I used to own an ant life on vhs. I remember only watching it twice, but in 20ish plus years I would get memories of this movies specifically when the mantis takes the tails of the geckos and then looks at the worm character and says something along the lines of I don't like bug and I've wondered for the longest what the hell was it called

Fun Fact: Car Go (A ripoff of Cars) was made by the Asylum, the same studio behind Atlantic Rim, Sharknado, Zoombies, Aquarium of the Dead (a Zoombies spinoff), Alien vs Hunter (a AVP ripoff), and Izzy's Way Home (A Finding Nemo ripoff). One of the Voice Actors in Car Go is Ed Asner who also voiced Mr Fredrickson in Pixar's Up.
