@@ahippy8972 The Irish hated the English for, among other reasons, the potato famine. That was reason. England still controlled the whole of Ireland and the Easter rebellion which led to the Irish republic was only 20 years away.

@@doubledee9675 At least 10 pieces!! Vicky's family, led by Eddie 7th, were a horrible lot, looking down their noses on everyone. Vicky's faithful Indian (?) servant was dismissed immediately upon her death, with his belongings put out in the garden! All of the letters between him and Vicky were also taken. He didn't fit in with Edward's Court I guess. 🤣

Thank you this was a very concise biography All I can say is: *Alfred was a better "spare" than either Prince Andrew or Prince Harry!* He had become redundant at age 20 when the Prince of Wales' first son was born in 1864[1] (A second son followed in 1865, who became George V.[2] A third son was born and died in 1871) I believe that Alfred's oldest sister (Empress Victoria of Germany) died of (breast) cancer. I know that her husband (Emperor Frederick iii)[3] died of throat cancer. Like his brother-in-law, Alfred, Frederick iii was a very heavy smoker. ______________________________________________________ 1.) Prince "Eddie" Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale ...... (Albert Victor Christian Edward; 8 January 1864 - 14 January 1892) 2.) George V. (r. 1910 -- 1936) King of the UK, British Dominions, Emperor of India (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 3 June 1865 - 20 January 1936) 3.) The House of Hohenzollern ...... (Margraviate of Brandenburg, kingdom of Prussia, Emperor United Germany)

My son very much enjoys watching your videos. But, you seem to have a penchant for repetition and mispronouncing words that are quite common. Also, your phrasing needs some attention. Those are not insurmountable problems per se, but if my 11 year old son picks up on them, I'm sure many others do too.
