Ron, I research this young lady by the way her middle name was "Cool"! She was born in February 1916, Wauchula, Hardee, Florida! Her parents names were: James Allen and Nancy Padgett Allen, who still lived in Wauchula, Florida! She had 3 brothers and 7 sisters! Leroy, Eddie, Sydney & Lillie Mae, Ruth, Emily, Thelma, Bernice, Arlene and Edith! Lillie Mae and Ruth were married and living away from home, while the remaining five sisters were still at home. All through the brothers were living away from home with Leroy living in Cocoa and sister Lillie Mae & her husband also living in Cocoa, Ruth was living in Miami with her husband, Sydney was living in Lakeland, while Eddie was living in Georgiana. All were alive at the time of Ethel's death! What I found peculiar was that from 1935-1939, 3 of her siblings, had also passed away. Emily in 1935 at 25 yrs old, Edith in 1938 also at 25 yrs old, Leroy in 1939 in his 40th yr. Leroy, is the one, that lived in Cocoa, also! I'm really curious because the newspaper article, I read, Cocoa Tribune News, dated November 22, 1934, said that her services was in Georgiana, which is where her brother, Eddie, lived, but then they used the Reverend Nelson, who was Pastor of Eau Gallie Methodist Church! It also said that Ethel died in Eau Gallie on November 21, 1934 but also stated she was killed approximately 3-days prior to being found??!! So how did they do an autopsy and how did they get her ready for burial within 24 hours? This sounds like a total cover-up to me!! Ron and Scott, what are your opinions on this? The poor girl deserves justice and I know it has been eighty-nine years since she was killed. Her family & her are all in God's hands now God's hands and at peace!😢😢 Very sad story to be brutally unrecognizable except for a tattoo.!

What a sad and horrible story. I agree that someone close to her had to have done this. I hate that the person got away with this, at least here on earth anyway. It's so nice to see that she is still remembered by some visitors. Nice to see you and Scott together. You are both such a joy to watch ( even in the sadness of the stories ). Looks like a beautiful peaceful cemetery for this poor young girl. Didn't see anything spooky, but who knows what happens after dark. Thank you guys, another one who will now never be forgotten, and some meaning has been brought back to her existence because of you.

She was so young to have gone through all she went through. So sad. Seems like she had a rough life trying to make it in the world. It is terrible no justice ever came for this heinous crime. God bless her family who had to live out their lives in fear of that monster still roaming about freely. Them second guessing everyone, not knowing who did that to their daughter, their sister, and then the monster got to live out his life probably even watching them mourn their loss. Just awful.

Scott was told about you by some viewers on his channel and in a few of his KZbin livestreams last year-he does more Pop culture-movie locations-celebrity coverage culminating in a respectful visit to their homes, place of death and graves and he didn’t know anything about you until then- he wasn’t sure if you’ll be down for anything but I could tell he was intrigued and he said he’ll look you up, always great to find someone telling the stories of those all but forgotten over the years and now here we are!

Sent you an Email with names of her parents and six siblings- all passed on by now… but what gets me is that with so many close family members(not to mention Aunts, Uncles etc) seeing one brother who oassed away in the late 50’s….and NO ONE could take up a collection to get her a decent gravestone? That, to me, is tragic. I am a South Florida native and this makes me feel terrible. I wish It could be changed…
