There is a societal and ingrained belief that it isn’t worthy of stiff penalties to murder kids in your house. That boys life was not valued, that four yr old girl was not valued, and the two yr old sister was not valued enough. More children will be victims of these people. If people cared they would fight to get legislation changed. In my home state, such crimes carry the death penalty. As they should. is there any historical reason as to why sentences are so light in some european countries? the fact that someone could be sentenced to such a low sentence for such a heinous act against a child is absolutely insane to me.
@absolutelyheretical71326 ай бұрын
It's not just European countries, it frequently happens in the USA, with some states giving utterly deluded sentences at times. Canada, Australia and New Zealand have extremely lenient sentences also - much, much more lenient than the UK. Pretty much every country in South America is ridiculously lenient too, much worse than many European countries. Considering there are TWO serial killers from that part of the world that murdered over 200 children each and still got out of prison after a pitiful sentence. Brazil is another example too, where you can literally be a serial killer and get out of prison constantly. There's a man there that killed over 70 people starting in childhood, most of them IN PRISON, and he's out and about now making youtube videos about his life as a minor celebrity...it ain't just Europe! Although they are very lenient, Germany and the Netherlands are good examples where they just let the most insane people out after a slap on the wrist. The reason sentences are light in these countries is because of the so-called "progressive" obsession with "rehabilitation at all costs", bordering on religious fervour for an idea that is 100% provably false. Anyone with a braincell knows these people are not capable of rehabilitation and even if they were, don't deserve it.

Minimum sentence of 10 years for raping his 2 year old sister - even without the rest of his crimes that's disgusting

The fact that these idiots breached their parole and then get re-released with zero supervision makes the courts even bigger idiots.

the social services system is broken across the board. vulnerable children, elderly, mental health are not the priority. it’s treated like a business. The system has their priorities all wrong.Also there’s too many middle managers who really don’t care and are in the job for 6months and move on only to better their own career! the people that do care and Do want to make a difference come way down the line. i know, i worked for the nhs for 15years and it’s all wrong 🤬🤬

We'd all heard about the baby P case, but this is the first time I've actually heard about what occurred. Can't believe it. May these monsters painfully rot.

Well researched and presented. I didn’t think I would be able to watch it all, these people and their families before them, are utterly despicable, and the authorities that failed Peter and his sisters are a disgrace to their profession. Words fail me

I do not know how you researched and compiled what you've narrated here. I've had to pause the video multiple times and take a deep breath before continuing and I'm only at 33 minutes in. I watch a lot of true crime from fascinating to horrific, this is on another level. Little Peter's story needs to be told in the hopes that repeat acts will be stopped, in time in the future. This is horrifying to the point of stomach churning disbelief. I'm with you 100% when you started the video by explaining you need a break....I get it. Please mentally recharge and focus on happiness for a while. I'm going to go hug my daughter for several minutes.

Why even have cps…? Like they usually intervene only after a child dies or after years of abuse. Something has to be done!!!

When little Peter was removed from his mother he stayed with some friends of my husband who was working at NAPO (national association of probation officers) office in Clapham. He came to no harm when he was with them, shame he couldn't stay forever with my husband's friends.

I HATE our ( UK ) ‘ justice ‘ system … the sentences handed out are AWFUL . The people who failed in their careers , clearly DON’T deserve to practice it ever again . Fly high little Peter and all of the many other victims 🕊️
