Ms Alourde I love your break downs I really loved her as Amanda on Melrose place I like to hear Sammy Joe as well on dynasty but Amanda was my favorite I sent her well wishes. I was wondering could you also do a breakdown on Shelley Duvall she is also suffered a great deal in the industry with mental illness.

I worked as an Extra on Melrose Place in the 90's. I was entering the set through a door and Heather was coming through that door at the same time. I tried to hold the door open for her but instead she held the door open for ME! She had a big friendly smile on her face and she was pregnant at the time! Such a class act and a lovely person!

@@RebeccaKhan-fx7jf That's weird! I wonder if she was 'playing' pregnancy on the show for the character's storyline? I feel odd now! I never watched the show (sorry Melrose fans)😊so I don't know! I only worked on that show like I think it was twice? Hmmmm interesting. I really hope she did not have a miscarriage! I have a hard time believing that she was just 'heavy' in the tummy area! Heather? No way! Anyway I don't think I'm remembering it wrong, how embarrassing if so. Either way I thought it was cool of her to hold the door open for me. That much I am completely sure of!

As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression daily, I recommend helping animals. I had it with people, people always hurt me, men especially. Relationships seem like easy escape but more often it's not, I always ended up hurt, just like Heather. I wish I am not poor so I can help more because it would fulfill me if I could do more. People won't help you when you are miserable, that's just my experience.

You are absolutely right! I was betrayed by family + friends the past couple of years who stopped talking through me while I was struggling w depression + anxiety. Got a dog last month and feeling a lot better. When I’m back to “normal” I will not be letting all the people who ditched me back in! And basically what makes people ditch you is just appearances. I gained weight w depression and suddenly people treat you different and don’t invite you. But I see their shallowness! They’ll never see me when I’m thinner again 😝
@biljam972
@biljam972 10 ай бұрын
@@00st307-m I don't think it's appearance. It's often how much we are of use to them. Sadly, a lot of people pretend to be our friends as long as they can use us in some ways. I had people ditch me because I stopped "being fun" due to my depressions and I had anxiety attack and no one wanted to deal with that. Also, in relationships with men as soon as I would want him to do more for me, commitment, love, more time together and not just shallow fun it's "bye bye" to me. So, cats! I am sad though I can't afford to take much better care of all those cats then I financially can.

I don't think millenials understand how big DYNASTY was. It was the rival show to DALLAS and Heather Locklear was a HUGE star way before Melrose Place. Sadly she was already tabloid fodder by the early 90s for her behaviour and substance abuse. Hollywood really needs to start treating its people better because there's clearly something going on if most child stars suffer so much by the time they're adults😢 Hope Heather gets better, she was such a beauty❤

When a woman is desperate to keep a bond with her husband/significant other, often they'll start to dive into things that they know their husband appreciates even if it's not good for them. I'm sure this goes the other way too for men. But I know from my experience I did just that to keep a bond between me and my husband years ago. And that bond ended up being drugs that I had never used before we were together. Luckily we were able to battle through it, get clean, and we're still together 16 years later. But I wish those lost years were spent healthy and happy.

It is said Heather Locklear's father's ancestry is from one of the many mixed-race communities in North Carolina. Many of the descendants from these communities in North Carolina look white in appearance, but have not only white ancestry, but black and Indian ancestry as well. Research Locklear's in North Carolina. My father is from one these communities in North Carolina.

By the way, when Rita Hayworth was older and not in great mental/ emotional shape they took and quickly published pictures of her that they should not have. SMH They also took suggestive pictures of Princess 👸 Diana while she at the gym when straddling workout 🏋️‍♀️ equipment. She threw a fit. Some of these videographers/ photographers are cruel.

Heather Locklear was that chick. Beautiful and talented. They put on TV shows and the ratings would go up. They use her and now they won't help her. No wonder Hollywood is falling.

Did any of you know beautiful Heather Locklear is part Lumbee descent through her father's lineage. Her last name, “Locklear,” is in the language of the Tuscarora tribes and means “hold fast.” The Lumbee have a mixed ancestry, which is mostly comprised of European, Native American and Africans who intermarried with each other. I know because this is a North Carolina tri-racial group I'm aligned with as well. Heather hold fast.

GREAT video!!! My earliest memory of Heather (as far as acting goes) is Melrose Place. She was absolutely fantastic in it. She made that show, tbh. I was rooting for her when she married Richie from Bon Jovi and had a family with him. I thought ti was. Like a less trashy version of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee (which is kinda funny bc she had a thing with Tommy like you said lol). And also like you said, she did have a drinking problem and so did Richie, which led to other addictions for him--one being drugs. They divorced some years later and then he went downhill even more. He even walked away from Bon Jovi and nobody knew where he was. He stopped being seen in the public and stopped talking to the band and his family and friends. He gave no reason for any of this either. During this, Heather was still Heather, though I don't think she was acting during this time, but she still made appearances. I say all that to say this: fast forward to now, Richie got help and is doing much better. He is talking with his loved ones again and is even thinking about going back to Bon Jovi. But now, Heather is having a hard time. Both of them seemed like they were alike in a lot of ways, which might be one of the reasons they didn't work out. They do say that some people don't get along with others who are exactly like them. Of course, I didn't know for sure why they divorced. I just learned from your video the whole Denise Richards and Richie thing. But I wonder if they were each other's weakness, but also enemy? They were too toxic for each other and along with tje Denise situation, it just shattered what little relationship they had left. Like Richie, I hope Heather gets help with whatever she's going through. She was so talented and seemed like she lit up a room when she walked in. I remember a couple of years ago, I saw her for an appearance and her age showed so much....no....it was much worse. And I dont doubt that that was when people started noticing that something wasn't right and she was probably dealing with addiction, yet again. I just see her going down the same path as Anne Heche. She dealt substance abuse and then mental issues for years. And we all know how her story ended. 😮‍💨

@@KarineAlourde Oh!! You know what? That would make perfect sense for him to do that. One of my nephews did that. He went off by himself and cut ties with certain people in the family to get away from their bad influence. He did that for four years and he's doing so well now; I'm so proud of him. Sometimes, you have to do something drastic, like cutting off people in your life, for the betterment of yourself. About Anne, have you done a video of her yet? I'm sorry if you have and I don't remember. I want to know more of her story. Would it happen to have something to do with family and or Industry abuse?
