I’ve owned a Can Am for two years and haven’t had to do anything other than replace the battery I wore out running the stereo all the time. My Polaris buddies. Tearing shit up all the time. Looking at all that wiring hanging out of the engine I can see why. My Can Am doesn’t have connectors hanging out in the breeze waiting to get ripped by the elements. Any wires around the engine are well protected.

@My Friend PETE that's the dealership scamming you, not the manufacturer. If the muffler doesn't make any change to the o2 sensor reading then it didn't make any difference to the performance of the vehicle. Plus warranty labor is much less than customer pay. Don't get me wrong I hate polaris, but they do make one of the best machines on the market( unfortunately). But its not their warranty department that's the issue, they often cover things that are clearly customer fault, but changing a muffler and having an o2 sensor issue is so obvious it's not even a discussion. Try putting every thing back to stock and see if the issue goes away, if it doesn't try a different polaris dealership and hope they don't notice the vin is the same. Or get a new o2 sensor or a dongle to delete it. Will a better exhaust system tuned properly run better, absolutely, will ot void any warranty related to it, 100%.

Replacing muffler doesn't void warranty its illegal for a manufacturer to void warrant for using aftermarket parts but if he tunes it then yes it will void warranty which he states that he didn't tune the vehicle

Anything aftermarket is best at turning dashboards into Christmas trees on any kind of motorized transportation. Unless you have a completely tuned race machine that is torn down and rebuilt in between races like a top fuel car anything other than factory parts are nothing but trouble

I hate Polaris! Parts are too high, they're not designed to be worked on, and WHEN it blows up it cost as much for an engine replacement as it does to replace an engine in a vehicle!! I've seen the 4 wheelers that are 2 - 3 years old with bad engines and they are more or less totaled. They run good and are badass but they will not last unless you baby them. Which ain't gonna happen !! So if you buy one of these put a lot of money aside for axles,transmissions, belts, engines, and electrical shit . Or buy something sensible like a honda or a rhino.

I feel dumber for watching just 5 minutes of that. No shit when you modify the hell out of one, warranty is going to tell you to kick rocks. It's spelled out pretty clearly in the paperwork you have to sign. "I'm getting an oxygen sensor code. I put this aftermarket exhaust on there but I can't see how that would cause it" If you can't see that, you don't have **any** room to criticize the real techs. PROTIP: If you are buying one to modify, you are wasting money on extended warranty. That is for stock machines.
