I loved looking through the Horror sections of both Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, even when I was too young to see R-rated movies. For low-budget, B-movie fun, I'd recommend "Hideous!", "Funnyman", and a movie that should be made into a video game: "Street Zombies", a.k.a. "Ozone".

I was born in 1996 and don't think I've ever been into a Blockbuster. My local Family Video just closed not too long ago though. I remember going in to pick out movies to rent with my parents as a teenager, and loving reading the back of the horror movies cases. It gave a bit of an adrenaline rush and sometimes I'd even get that intense adrenaline/small bit of fear that manifests itself as an icy coldness in the pit of the stomach. Ah, good times.

The cover which scared me the most whenever I go to the horror section of a video rental store is "Burial Ground", the one with the one-eyed skeletal zombie face front and center of the cover art with a desert-like landscape and mummy-like figures in the background. That one always stuck with me and made me too scared to rent the movie despite being morbidly curious. Didn't watch the movie until I was much older. It was gory, cheesy fun. Haha.

So let me get this straight, you have a friend name Terri who rented a graphic movie at a blockbuster then watched it and got sucked into the TV, then you noticed the kid on the cover was a missing 8th grader and then Terri was missing forever so you went back into blockbuster and saw his red rim glasses on a cover of a movie called “Clutch” then you rented it and watched it and then you figured out you were being stalked when you watched it so then shadow demons appeared in your room and then you stopped them? Honestly dude, same.
