Bro is describing my childhood. I went to a psychiatrist in my mid 20s bc I was really sad. I told them about my childhood and they said I never had a childhood. It took me years to grasp that statement. I am listening to this lady in this video and she is listing a lot of stuff that happened to me. Damn. No wonder my therapists are always super extra nice to me. I always wondered why they always felt so sorry for me. This video is opening up a reality I didn't know existed.

I was tortured physically and mentally they wanted me to say that I didn’t have pain and they cured me. I threatened to end my life and was sent to another facility that they owned and I was drugged and raped daily for hours and beaten up for 13 days. Then I got sent back and I still didn’t break. I think this is why denial and confusion is so prominent when people have a surface-level understanding of atrocities. They think “Well, I personally would never do that. And I don’t know anyone who would ever do that. So clearly people don’t act like that and these are exaggerations.” Cruelty causes confusion for the outsider. For the perpetrator, when they’re under the belief that what they’re doing is acceptable, it does something to them internally.

I am a torture victim from birth to 15. I didn't have anyone to turn to, the Internet hadn't even been invented yet and at my oldest was barely in its infancy. Torture is vastly different from abuse. If you've been tortured you KNOW because it's at such an extreme extent the average person who hears your story automatically think it's fiction.
@sophiaisabelle0278 ай бұрын
Torture is rather subjective. When we hear 'torture,' physical harm and physical pain is immediately implied. However there's deeper connotation that needs to be further addressed. Torture is far deeper than we think. It has psychological and mental effects. More like after-effects. A person may seem normal, you cannot tell immediately they've gone through psychological abuse and/or torture. You kinda need proper psychiatric evaluation to be able to decipher just how much pain and negative experience an individual went through.

Torture largely can happen to those who are vulnerable and have nobody to help them, and in a lot of cases that’s people fleeing governments who don’t protect them/actively harm them. I’d assume a lot of the victims of torture this person works with have been trafficked(as trafficking victims are vulnerable and have no one looking out for them) and the fact of the matter is a lot of trafficking victims are immigrants. It’s also important to knows that even though governments are largely untrustworthy, finding sanctuary in a place where the government doesn’t actively hurt you for you political beliefs, ideologies, gender, or other membership in a particular group is first priority for many people.

This is a great woman and the work she does is so important. However on the deportation subject it does depend whether they went through a safe country that would take them before they got to Britain.

If sanctuary and safety are their priorities why do they go through several safe countries to get on a dingy and go across the sea to get to the UK

It's very tragic to hear about about the two males she mentions 😭! Forced to board vessels... there's probably truth there... but however, it's known that many of these 'refugees' have paid huge sums in US $ to be smuggled in via boat to Europe. I do disagree with her opinion on sending 'refugees' to Rwanda by the UK gov. I think it's good and more countries should adopt this method. We=civilized countries in the western part of the world have taken in waaay more than enough people from bad countries, and we all know what that has led to 😭😭😭😡🤬. I do feel so sry and helpless because I personally can't help these people, but taking them in our countries has sadly proven to be a huge security risk for our lives and sooo much more! Rather them than us! Again I'm so sorry for their suffering but we have helped so so much! Personally I want to FIRST take care of citizens in UK, that suffer from homelessness, low wage and can hardly afford food and utilities etc. I can already hear woke leftists calling me a racist and inhumane for this!

Picture this,my brother commited suicide after years of abuse and torture from his wife. She abused him emotionally,threatened him and even forced him to go out and steal so she can put her feet up and smoke all day while the place they lived in was a cockroach nest. All that with 2 young daughters. We went up there only when we really had to. Took her only 2-3 months to find a new victim and to get pregnant by him after he commited suicide in their own apartment. I say women's rights my ass! Where was my brother's right to live like a decent,loving human being that he was? Now, 9 years after everything had happened it still hurts me just like on the day he died. My mother died last year and I know she never recovered from my brother's death. The torturer is still out there,living "peacefully" with another family,the "supermom" of the century.
@IKilledEarl8 ай бұрын
Firstly, I'm profoundly sorry for your loss--both of them. Your situation doesn't have anything to do with "women's rights." Let's put your anger where it rightly belongs. This is an issue of weaponized feminism (not all feminism), bias favoring women in our criminal justice system, and toxic masculinity perpetrated by those to whom your brother disclosed his abuse but did not take it seriously (not by your brother... unless he hid his abuse, then toxic masculinity would be to blame, which is entirely NOT his fault, to be clear). I am just a stranger on the internet, but I want you to know that, as a woman and a victim of horrific DV, I am disgusted by women (and men) like the one you've described. I only comment because I don't want you to think all women are evil and don't deserve rights due to the vile actions of one person. We're not all psychopathic thunderc*nts. I hope you find peace and healing. Be kind to yourself ❤️🩹🕊
