Interestingly enough, if Shadow was put in this position, he wouldn't do it. Killing the infant would be taking away his right to be happy, which goes against his promise to Maria. He also doesn't age, so he doesn't have to worry about the baby growing up into a warrior during a bad time. If anything, he would have scrapped with Zeus/Mephiles. Lancelot, on the other hand, is a complete mystery. On one hand, he is definitely loyal enough to Arthur to do it, but if the events of Black Knight happened, then Sonic's words of "There's more to being a knight than serving" might make him reconsider.

Well, the thing is: in Black Knight, Silver is an unlockable character in the multiplayer-only mode, named Sir Galahad. And Sir Galahad is... straight-up the name of Lancelot's son in Arthurian lore. It could kinda warp seeing how we're meshing this with a Grecian storyline world, but at least in the Black Knight universe, Silver is HEAVILY implied to be Shadow's son outright.

Few things I would stage differently, but quality alone if just Peeeeerfect. And yes, Mephiles is great stand in for Zeus. I love how he turns diamond for 1 second, only when Shadow isn't looking. Sidenote, obviously this animatic isn't 1:1 to Epic's story (Gerald as Telemachus), but in a more faithful take personally I see Sonic as Odysseus, but as story progresses he looks more and more like Shadow, until blood covers his quills.

So someone is finaly doing this huh? Personaly my casting would be differant. especialy with Blaze since I invision her as Cercis and what the fu with geerald as telemicus XD Telemicus is supposed to be Odyseu's son. Interesting idea of Mephalice being Zeuse though and silver being the infant. However I would have castes Sonic as Odyseus though it is touch to see Shadow all beat up because he has killl a baby, realy shows alot more humanity to him. Do as you like and will I just hope to see other sonic parodies of the Epic Musical.
