+muffinxlovee we love fieldroast, but only the sausages. I don't like their franks... too salty! The sausages are way better. So we used Yves for more classic hot dogs.

Those Veggie Tofurky Italian Sausages (Thick/spicy) are great/edible if you slice them angle 45degree etc about 1/4"thick,,, like sausage you see in salads. Then pan fry them lightly till golden. Some guy told me it was the best way he ever had them... I also cooked and did other stuff too like a stir fry, and added them to salad/spring rolls. wrapped with basil

Hey guys I had a question about the non dairy milk you use. Is it generally sweetened or unsweetened? I usually buy vanilla flavored to use as a creme supplement in my coffee, but I was curious about what you guys prefer.

+Rachel Knue we always used unsweetened and our preferred brand is Silk Unsweetened Almond! Definitely unsweetnened non-dairy milk for most of our recipes but using a sweetened one in baking or a vanilla one usually is fine as a sub. It's not so sweet that it alters the recipe!

I am originally from Brazil and our hot dogs have many toppings and tomato sauce (Google brazilian hot dogs to say how crazy it gets)!!! I make vegan hot dogs at home all the time because I find hard to buy a hot dog I really like in Toronto. I generally find them a bit dry :( That being said, John's is a winner for me, this time :)

Here's a Challenge for you - Vegan Hogs Head Cheese. I love the stuff but now that i'm Vegan I want to eat a healthy version without pork. I know you can get vegan gelatin and the (Cajun spicy) seasonings are all of course vegan except for the pork flavor - the one ingredient I haven't found. What do I use for pork flavoring? Can you do it?
