I picked up the TTArtisan 35mm F2 for my Zf. It's under 400, so cheap depending on your budget. But I think it's a decent performer for the price. It'll pair great with the Zf.

You are, by far, the best lens reviewer on the internet. I have purchased so many of the lenses you've reviewed I'm going to need a bigger backpack. The TTArtisans 75mm F2.0 is my most recent purchase and it is beyond amazing, Went out yesterday with it and it blew my mind --it might even be sharper that the Yongnuo 85mm F1.8. Also just bought the Viltrox 28mm f4.5 which produces very good photos. The only dog you've recommended has been the Oreo lens. Granted, you point out it's a more of a fun lens. But at least the one available in Italy, which doesn't have the Oreo top (it's just open), is unusable. In fact, you can hear the rear element rattle when you move around--as you can imagine, correct focus is impossible. But I've also been thrilled with the TTA 7.5mm fisheye, 10mm rectilinear, 25mm f2.0, 56mm f1.8, 7Artisans 18mm, 27mm AF, and a couple I'm forgetting off the top of my head...

I have been wanting to get that neewer tripod but I am already out of budget lol so I'll have to wait for another sale. The R50 looks like a great deal! Also now that I own the Viltrox f/1.2 duo I can confirm that those images look like full frame, and the rendering is amazing on Fujifilm. Thanks Mark!

i have seen cheap and some expensive UV filters affect the image quality. i had a 300mm (600mm equiv) f/4 m.zuiko lens that i thought was defective. i tried it without the multicoated UV filter and it was much better, night and day difference. i've heard it's more noticeable at wildlife focal lengths. if you never shoot at over 400mm, you may not notice.

Hey Mark, love your videos-they’re always spot on and super helpful! 👍 I’ve trusted your advice before and it’s been great, especially with the Canon M50 Mark II and some lenses I picked up. I ended up giving the M50 to my daughter for university, and now I’m just using my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s fine, but I really miss having a real camera. I saw you mention the Panasonic S5II, which got me curious. I was originally looking at the Canon R8, but after hearing your thoughts on the Lumix S5II, I’m wondering if it’s the better bang for the buck. What’s your take on the S5II with the two-lens bundle? Would love to hear your opinion! 😁

I was really hoping to find a deal on the DJI mic 2. This years Black Friday sales seam to be lame compared to you ears past. I kind of miss the days of getting up at 4 am to wait in line for the crazy door buster deals on electronics. Yeah the wait sucked but the deals were amazing.

Realistically, it's because photography KZbin is rather niche. In addition, Mark Wiemel's style of content is very serious and straight to the point, which is very informative, but some people might not like it. When you compare it to someone like Mark Bennnett, who adds a bit of comedy but tends to be more aloof in his content, it's like a "pick your poison" type of deal. I personally watch both so...

@@bryannaing6316 I'm only saying, with all the fluff that's out there, I really enjoy creators that provide useful information and don't waste time simply to get more view time on the Google clock. Mark is doing a great job!

I had a cine lens 12mm. I miss the ease of manual focus adjustment in the dark with gloves on. Astro/landscape photography could use better grips like the cine.

I wish you would read and respond to comments. I’m a Canon RF shooter. I’m paying a ton for Canon RF glass. Im’ intrigued by the Fuji form factor and these inexpensive glass you show and discuss. I’m given up on Canon resurrecting the AE1. But your recommendations for me no good. PLEASE for people like me, talk about and show current best-pricing on say a Fuji X-t2 new and or used. This would be a ‘bridge,’ for people like me to these lenses. For a beginning into Fuji, which body and which 1 or 2 lens, today, as a start landing point into that system. Perhaps the 2 lenses would be the 2 you took to your daughter’s house on your recent visit.
@lionheart44242 ай бұрын
Problem with Fuji is the overpriced cameras in used market. If you can get a used X-T1, X-T2, X-T3 or X-T30ii those would be the best value depending on your budget. Alternatively you could consider something like an X-E3 or X-E4. I can't recommend the X-M line for the lack of EVF, and X-Pro are expensive, but the X-M5 is feature packed for its price.
