You’ve stated you’ve been in reefing well over 15 years and it’s always great to hear that excitement in your voice every time you put out a video, which is why I’m always eagerly waiting for the next one to be out. Reefing for me is my zen and my escape from everyday life. Thanks!

@Fragbox Corals we get a lot of pagoda corals in India which have multiple colors for near about $6 for a large 5 to 6 inch diameter plate. We call it long tentacle plate corals. I have one which has cyan base, green polyp with purple tentacle skirts and its absolutely gorgeous.

Hey March store is looking great! Little request, when you film coral videos can you move slower over the corals and include the number when you pause over something so we can see the coral and the corresponding numbers with them? I can't buy it if i cant find it on the site! 😄 And maybe, possibly try to cover every tank? I try to refer to videos to shop but pausing to find one frame to look at a frag tank in the background and then try to guess what the blurry number says is very frustrating. Thanks!

Soft corals are underrated. They're beautiful, less expensive and generally more tolerable to different water parameters. Your tank looks epic. 😍

Your stock always looks so nice March! I hope you have some serious pride in what you do. Plus in this day and age of not being able to find decent help you have yet to have ANY problems with your guys. That’s speaks volumes of what kind of business you run and where your passion lies. So many people that start a store do it for the love of corals and that quickly turns into doing anything for money I have yet to step into a shop as nice as yours sir! Rarely does the old saying of do what you love, and you don’t work a day in your life ring true because of how, turning a passion into a business just sucks all the love out of it But you got it figured out! Frag box is on my bucket list fo sho.

Leathers are certainly underrated and softies in general. Cabbage coral is so amazing looking and offers such an amazing contrast. Cup coral?... Nice, Pagoda is another under rated. " I love the blue nephthea and have not seen it in person.

Honestly it’s sad how all these big name companies are selling corals for astronomical prices. This hobby got way to expensive and became more about the money than the animals themselves. Been in the hobby for 10 years and the prices are just out of control.

@CelloyCello2 жыл бұрын
Thats what happens with demand though. People are willing to pay the high price because the hobby is a joy. So you cant blame companies and especially small shops that have upped prices on livestock.
@Botzz282 жыл бұрын
@@CelloyCello I can’t stand that lame excuse. So because someone is stupid enough to pay 1000$ for a 1 inch frag that means the rest of us have to suffer the consequences of u reasonable prices ? That’s so dumb. It’s absolutely the companies fault for putting these coral prices through the roof. That’s a stupid lame excuse everyone uses. It’s only hurting the hobby in the long run. No one is going to be able to afford these prices anymore and eventually the community will slowly dwindle away. It’s all about the money with these companies not about the animals like it’s supposed to be.
@CelloyCello2 жыл бұрын
@@Botzz28 Its not all about the animals. Why did you get a reef tank? To “save” a coral from an LFS? I think not. For some, this is a business that funds life. You cant blame stores for prices. And its not like all corals are expensive either. There are many budget corals; expensive pieces are for those who can afford it.
@Botzz282 жыл бұрын
@@CelloyCello wow. That’s the stupidest thing I have ever heard. GSP goes for like 30-40$ now. Shit used to be 5$ a frag. They are taking advantage of the community and keeping new people from entering the hobby. It’s an absolute fact that this hobby is extremely overpriced.

My first coral was a toadstool they came off. It’s frag and was buried under the sand for a few months my diamondback, Kobe recently uncovered it, and I glued it to a rock… it’s still alive

My LFS let me scape a leather tank. Its currently holding my very first coral i ever bought 6 years ago which happen to be a toxic green toadstool. Ive set it up purposely up as a inexpensive low maintainence tank for people who a time poor that still want a marine tank.

I'm dying to set up my little Tsunami Studio 12. Got to Ontario from PEI with my coral in a bucket and got told when I arrived "no aquarium" on the property because of flood risk. Oof. It's a 12g... So going to get a small laundry tub, put a shelf across the top and it can be the emergency catch. Meanwhile my fishies, coral, and critters went to a nice home in Toronto. Hope to see some of them again soon.
