On the Ari Superior - they've shortened everything and pimped it all for tricks but what's with that super high standover height? Why not optimise that for tricks too?

Wonder how much Canyon is paying Sam to ride their E bike at a free ride event that doesnt even require a chain.
@carlomeinecke1964Ай бұрын
I think it's partly also his personal preference. Having a heavier bike allows you to move your body differently on the bike, which some people like more
@MondiMTBАй бұрын
Im pretty sure hes not getting paid.
@jackfalcon5352Ай бұрын
@@carlomeinecke1964 naw, nobody is going out of their way to ride a bike with a motor and battery on dirt jumps. Sam is just able to ride anything to make sponsors happy and still shred
@jackfalcon5352Ай бұрын
@@MondiMTB he’s literally sponsored by Canyon, half of his videos are promoting new bikes from Canyon. No hate, he deserves good bikes and money. But nobody would go out of their way to ride an eMTB at a free ride competition unless someone asked them too.
@jeehoonjones138919 күн бұрын
@@jackfalcon5352 or its just the newest one and he wants to ride it? He rode the torque O:N too which is a 180mm freeride bike with a bigger motor. Remember. Weight = speed

Some cool paint jobs this year, really nice, like Bienve's and Casey's the best. Small suggestion for Kaos if he really plans to continue to ride without gears, get an SS/Trials hub, it'll let him build a completely dishless rear wheel, which will be much stronger and he can still fit 5 or 6 cogs on there if he happens to need some at some point.

Been riding mini mx for about 2 season. I love it since I only do bike park. My frame was also 210/55, which 160/150 beofre and i did some experiment so now it's 190/180. Switched it to zeb 190 front and DVO jade 8.5x2.5 rear. Same Bb height as that V10. I'm usually riding medium bike since I'm 171cm tall, but I now use small size since I found out I have shorter arms with longer legs. Much more control going downhill too with riser handle bar, singlespeed made it more responsive in the rear.

With the no drive train bike, are the pedals locked? Seemes you might as well go with fixed foot pegs or are there rules that say they have to be free moving pedals or other restrictions? Does he just like the pedals being used to that configuration?
