Great video on the Shikari, along with your tackle setup. I had to double check the diameter of the Defiant braid because I was a bit surprised at the lb test you were using on both your casting and spinning outfits. It looks like the 40 lb Defiant has a diameter similar to standard 20 lb PowerPro, and the 33 lb Defiant is similar in size to 15 lb PowerPro. I just started using YGK XBraid which is more similar in diameter to Defiant’s ratings. I haven’t found a braid yet that can cast as well off a spinning outfit as YGK XBraid X8 Upgrade, but I have not used Defiant braid yet.

That cadence is kind of the same as slapping a towel on one of your buddies asses at the pool! I kind of archaic and childish we have looking at it, but you get the gist! Thanks for the info, Oliver.🤘🤘🙏🏼

Great explanation of the how AND why for working a jerk bait. Same principle as walking the dog on a topwater, where you hit it with slack and give it slack, just underwater.
