For any elastic, even if it looks tight, always stretch it to see if it's dry rotted. You'll hear and feel it crackle when you test the elastic.

Had to come back and comment; in one haul I found: Arc’teryx, 5.11 tactical pants, FR cargo pants, 2 pairs of 501s, a pair of Fox shorts, and found a Kuhl pullover the previous haul. Good thing we are still wearing masks, the look on my face as I “casually” put the Arc’teryx polo in my cart as I breezed through to see if I could find more....anyway. I don’t find half the brands you do, based on my location, but they are still on my list. Thanks for the videos!

I wear a lot of overalls - be careful with sizes. The Older Carharts sizing run smaller than waist size. The new ones are pretty accurate. If you have a zipper on the front, the size will be pretty accurate, If you have two ntap pockets on top it's the old style that are small.

Do you recommend keeping winter clothes that didn't sell listed through the summer months or end these listings, then relist them in the fall? When sourcing for inventory, if you find good winter clothes during spring or summer, do you list them promptly or wait till fall? Thanks.

Could you show us some pictures? Esp. the trucker jackets, so we know what they look like? When I go look for plain old dress pants, the racks are full of womens JOGGER PANTS. I hate it. Elastic everywhere, up and down. With pants, I always look for new w/ tags and because of the condition of pants, I will only source new w/ tags. Overalls are rare at the thrift stores. I'm stuck with a pair of women's cargo pants :) Thanx for the video.

I'm new to reselling and just started selling on poshmark. So I posted a kappa Roma jersey and I got a warning that the item was counterfeit but it definitely is not counterfeit. So needless to say after I posted the Manchester united jersey I posted a went to check my closet and they took everything down and I have sent them three e-mails wanting to know what happened. They said it can take up to 24 hours to get a response. This happened yesterday and I haven't heard back from them yet but reading there reviews there customer service is not the best. I've been hard core into vintage tee shirts since the start of covid. What you said makes perfect sense man. A couple months ago, out of boredom, I looked through all of ebay, depop and etsy for nike cargo sweatpants size xl (with open hem on the bottom of sweatpants, not elastic). I swear I purchased literally the only four pairs of flawless nike cargo sweatpants online. Made in Malaysia or pakistan. Zero holes, zero stains, flawless. The other 900 pairs I looked through all had imperfections.....holes, stains, bleach, blown out waist. So those four pairs of cargo sweatpants were actual work to find them lol. Have 3 pairs of vintage levi's cargo shorts from 2005 I believe. I've had those for 16 years and won't part with them. I only have one single item that I'm on the hunt for now...... impossible to find anywhere, can't find to save my life - a vintage blockbuster video tee shirt size xl in white, preferably single stitch, but around mid 90's. I've scoured the internet and they just don't exist. If you have one, I'd buy it off you in a second. Cool video man

@@ThriftALife Last night on ebay an auction got out of hand on a pair of dark gray nike cargo sweatpants xl. It was the most I've seen them go for yet. The winning bidder paid $65.61 plus $7 shipping. (35 bids and 8 bidders) So $20 - $25 more than usual. I even bid $59 on them before I bowed out lol. I was just trying to double up on the identical pair I already have. Nike cargo sweatpants, sweet unbuttoned long sleeve shirt/flannel, a cool vintage tee shirt...and a pair of comfortable stylish new balance shoes........doesn't get any cooler. Out of boredom and watching vintage tee shirt videos over the last year.....I feel like I finally pimped out my wardrobe to the max with only the things I like. My favorite jeans to wear are vintage 90's loose fit levi's silvertabs......and jeans I actually like the most are a brand called kirkland. Kirkland is just a brand that they sold at costco... but they are just made with perfection. They stopped making them a few years ago I think. I'm not sure if kirkland is frowned upon and could care less.....but the kirkland signature jeans that they used to sell at costco would smoke 98 percent of any jeans ever made (in quality and style) Also don't know how any grown man can wear jeans with butt ugly bedazzles and designs on the butt....that cost like $100 lol. If you gave me a pair for free and then paid me $100 to wear them, I still wouldn't wear that trash. Sorry for the rant. Hope ya find some hammers next time you go thrifting. I'd like to see a video of your top ten favorite vintage tees in your personal collection. And your favorite jeans. Later brotha
