+Mister mood totally depends on how much bodywork it needs in preparation for paint. If you email me at chris@westcoastautocraft.com i can give you sone scenarios.
@TheKyotu8 жыл бұрын
+Mister mood just guessing from a Bodyman perspective, your looking at anywhere from 4-10 thousand or more, labor to take it all apart, make sure all the parts will be able to go together easy, primer, sandpaper, time/labor, paint materials, colorsand/buff/denib/buff/buff put it all back together, make sure gaps are correct. just a full paintjob can take nearly a week if the car doesnt need cosmetic work and everything is there.

+Yannick Bislin Agreed! I don't care if it looks like crap,got rust,and the paint is flaking off. I still love my car. Busted knuckles and all,for that killer cruise down a long country road,it's all worth it. Go drive your car!
@elguapok208 жыл бұрын
+Yannick Bislin Kinda ironic because this car seems to be more about how it looks than how it drives, I'm sure it drives just fine though. It kind of is a status symbol due to the whole comment about not wanting any other car on the road to have the same paint as hers. No hate at all, love the story, love the final note, but I don't know if it really fit in this video.
@BlueCollarExCalifornian8 жыл бұрын
+PhattyMo I had a 2000 Ford Explorer, with a pushrod 4 liter V6. Not exactly an ideal vehicle for having fun in the corners but I still did. To me, a true car enthusiast is someone who can fun driving no matter what car their in.

I know times have changed and things will always change because time keeps moving but my god! The curves, the humps, the wide running board, that grille, the profile, what were they thinking, how did they even come up with a car design like this, what was it about the 40s that made them think of a design like this and why can't they do it now, this car is just beautiful. So much charisma, so much character, so weird, so cool.

I'm really tired of seeing all of the negativity with the: "Oh no don't ruin a ford with a chevy motor"... The Z.A. Duntov Small Block Chevy was the TOP of the top when it came to 50's hot rods. You have to remember, most hot rods even into the early 60s were either flatheads or SBCs. If you wanted fast, chevy was the way to go, and being mad at this car is beyond stupid, thats like saying you hate the Milner Coupe... and if you hate the Milner coupe then you're wrong.
