The House (Flash Game)

I used to play this game when I was in high school. This is a simple Point & Click game. I hid the mouse cursor so ya'll could focus om the surroundings of each and every room in that house.

This game gave 7 year old me nightmares, but ironically enough it was probably the beginning of my love of horror games which lead to my love of horror in general, then true crime, which has lead to me doing a forensic based uni course 🥺

I remember playing The House when I was 12 years old. I usually played it during night when my parents and sibling are fall asleep, lights out, and i prefer if it was raining to feel the nuance.

Its a shame, Flash games will be no more after 2020 Newgrounds was saying it will work on something so that we can enjoy the content there but unfortunately Newgrounds was baned here

I love how the jumpscare is more creepier in the Flash version. In the older House game, the woman had no eyes and has a 1 second scream lmao. But in this version, the woman is more creepier, she has blood all over her eyes and mouth, and the scream is reused from Alrena's in the 2nd game. I wonder who that woman is. Maybe she's the one who stalked the player at the bathroom? I could be wrong, but it's worth a shot to reminisce this game again.

There is another game very similar, but it starts with a moving stratum. You enter the house and find a painting by Michelangelo, after a lightning strike, the painting becomes frightening. If anyone remembers the name of the game, please tell me.
