So true… be more supportive… meet the young ppl where they are. Their realities are different, their journeys are different. What we should ensure as we are more experienced in life, is to share the outcome of the choices we make and where it led us and show them that they will encounter the same but lead them to the source of strength… teach the how to ask of God, speak nice things of God so they can be encouraged to listen to Him for themselves. They may not do it then but they will remember just be there. Some old ppl just jealous of the young lives these young ppl have and they just wish they had it like them. Cause when you love someone you will support them.

Very good word Pastor! I can relate so much. In my twenties I felt constantly bashed by an older woman who I had tons of respect for…she took my respect and ran with it, using it as an opportunity to devalue me. She talked about everything from my weight to my adult acne. It really broke my spirit but I eventually cut ties (it took 11 years) and now I’ve learned what NOT to do to younger woman. I uplift them every chance I get because I remember how the lord delivered me from such a hurtful situation and I wouldn’t dare put someone else through that! God bless you for being obedient and sharing his word!
