The version on the LP was so disappointing compared to the session one as with another song called “ Safe “ which I’m unsure now was on the LP . But the bbc studio version of Love in a car is up there with some of the beautiful autherial stuff produced by the likes of Yes in their progeny heyday. This isn’t the version but it’s on YT - a guy has accompanied the track with footage of his beloved BMW car . It has a long fade-out but the atmospheric production is tons meatier than the terrible ‘ Tinny ‘ version on their first album. They seemed to loose this ‘ psychedelic ‘ touch on the album. Them and The Chameleons were my fave “ indie “ “ Unknowns “ of that year or two for sure 👍
