I lived in SF for years (until recently) and HOPR is one of the many fine restaurants I miss. Other than the fine beef I'd go just to have the Yorkshire Pudding !!!

While I'm much closer to Lawry's in Beverly Hills, I have so much respect for the owner of this location. Probably the cleanest restaurant in SF!

Thanks for the memories. I ate there in the 1960's...very glad to know that it still has the same quality, service, and ambience it had then. I have dreamed of the creamed spinach and the tableside salad for years and it's still there. This will go in the life album on the old PC.

I've eaten there once, and it was the Bomb! Definitely a very special place, I just watched a Anthony bordane video, and he went to House of prime rib, also saw video of 49er players eating there. Don't miss out, if your in town, it really is the spot.

Love this place as well...being a SF native, I used to head down right at 9:30 pm (closing) and ask if there were a waiter or waitress willing to do one more table or not? More time than not, we get seated in matter of minutes😂. But please remember to use this trick only for good😂 and remember to tip your server well! 😂Enjoy Y-all 😊

An exact copy of Lowry's in Beverly Hills, looks really good. Whoever opened this restaurant must have eaten at Lowry's and was inspired. Been to the City many times and never knew of this place, have to check it out...

Actually, they both opened approximately at the same time. The late 1930’s. Both claim to be first. Been to both and they are both great.

Yes, the prime rib is good at HPR, but the next time you're in Vegas, stop in at either Oscars or Barry's and have the ribcap. Unfortunately, that cut is no where to be found in the bay area.

The road trip thru the bad roads of SF was a waste & boring! The prices were in line with other fine prime Rib restaurants! I thought that the chef slicing the rib awkwardly was unprofessional! Putting the creamed spinach on the same plate with the meat & au jus is a big no-no! Your daughter portion at about $48 was a joke, but then came two additional slim cuts, WOW! I would have rather loaded the potato myself as the server jammed a lot of stuff into the potato like it was a cheesesteak! Your Rib portion at about $60 looked nice & rare! A happy birthday to you, God Bless

People have short attention spans, better editing, meaning shorter video, I think would help you greatly. Also, my son has a better camera than you. I hate to be so critical, but because your asian, and I am too, I want your channel to succeed. It's not easy to be a content creator. Best of luck, you folks seem pretty cool.

We appreciate the feedback and funny enough we've already made the change to edit down our videos and make them shorter AND we recently invested in a stronger camera but haven't learned how to use all the features yet. We are doing the best we can with the resources we have available to us. ;)
