I think it sounds too cheesy, but maybe the game took a turn through development, so the music was changed to be more upbeat

Wait, the flashback of HOD1 was present on the prototype Arcade version? I thought thy only added it in dreamcast port? Can the flashback be triggered in the final naomi build of hod2?

No. I just edited that in. Also, the prototype/beta intro is the same as always with the same tunes. The only thing is that the ost is hidden in the files as a remainder. Sorry for the confusion.
