I'm scratching my head to why it didn't get ported to the Wii U because wiimotes but then again I heard the engine the original arcade versions were on were designed to make porting to PS3 easier, and that one of the biggest flaws of the Wii U was that some devs had trouble porting to it. Here's hoping Scarlet Dawn gets ported to the Switch assuming it gets a console release later on, since it runs on Unreal Engine 4

I know that I'm replying to something that is a year old, but whatever. The voice acting in the House of The Dead series is fucking hilariously bad. It's one of the better things in a funny way because of how bad it is. It's that bad that you can't not laugh at it. I mean, the infamous "WE'RE MEETING G OVER THERE" quote from HOTD 2 always makes me fucking lose it. The gameplay has always been amazing, though~

I think Kate should have been given the Player 1 Position as she's the main character as G appears right after she does. Also, that would mean that if there's 2 Players, Player 2 would have that "HOLD YOUR FIRE!" like in HOTD3 until G appears, so it would make more sense as it doesn't make any sense at all if you're Player 1, and you see G's Arms when you reload before he even appears.

The Magician is definitely an interesting boss. Other than being the first Big Boss, recurring as a tough near final boss in the second game and recurring as a special boss in the fourth game is great. I played through the third game MANY MANY MANY times but never found him, unfortunately. I did notice the beginning of the special stage was the first level of the third game, and that the final section and area was from the zeroth level of the third game, and the end. For me, Magician was WAY WAY WAY harder than Emperor and Emperor. I remember trying to take him out in the second game, just crazy(never played the original). Thanks for the video. I'm happy to know he's in the fourth one and quick as ever. :3

It's true that The Magician is the most popular boss as the game boss in the first game and then relegated to be the penultimate in the second game with a weak point and then the game boss of the fourth game's special edition. Well, I personally don't have a preference with any of the consoles, Wii included and that had some pretty great and obscure exclusives as well. Besides that well....I can say for the ps3 you can use a good amount of random usb controllers for it, I had one that I could switch the D-pad and control stick with and have it like a 360 controller. But yeah playing this with a controller wasn't too bad, though I really do want to try this with a ps move and see how well I would do with that.

The attacks Magician used after he has half life left are my favourites. The attack he charges then dashes down is similar to his speed move in the first and second game except that there is a cancel bar to empty instead of shooting the weak point just once.

You can use a normal PS3 controller or a PS move with this game. My whole play through was done with a normal PS3 controller.

That was exactly like Magician's speed move. Also, annoying lightning when he is near death is also a problem.

The developer interview and Special can be unlocked just by beating the main game :D Just get through the main game and you're set, and if you beat SP hard and very hard mode are unlocked as well =o
