I highly suggest you don’t do turf!!! Our dog sitter and our neighbors have turf and they both hate it. With dogs peeing on it, it will inevitably smell. Even if you hose it down often like you should. It doesn’t allow for adequate drainage and traps mold and bacteria. It also deteriorates overtime. It’s a better investment to grow grass or lay sod :)

Hear me out, my husband and I are 26. We had a large yard of rock with 3 dogs. The dogs have a doggie door and come and go as they please. They brought in so much dust that we decided to GROW grass from seed in our backyard. Soooo much easier than I thought and so much cheaper than sod or turf, it just took time. I will HAPPILY share all the tips and tricks. 10/10 recommend growing grass from seed. We did it with absolutely zero experience... we can't even keep plants alive, but we've got a lush backyard now

Your new house is gorgeous! That kitchen is so fabulous. Legit, you should do a family portrait of you guys and the dogs. Having full access to a pool is a wonderful incentive, especially if there is a hot tub too. Is it indoor? I love you and your sister. as someone from new england… majority of houses to rent in the area where we are looking are typically $3,000+ its so so so hard finding something nice and more affordable. so happy for you that your area has some beautiful options that are so affordable (at least in my eyes) cant wait for more moving vlogs! i love your moving content💕

My backyard is super similar in the sense that the neighbors houses are close but we can only see small frosted windows and their laundry rooms. It’s incredibly quiet and private. I often forget close the houses are.

Totally feel you on the privacy! I'm sometimes jealous of my friends (And you now!) who have a pool where they live....But I live in a really big guest house on ground floor with no neighbors connected to my unit and a nice fenced in yard with a super quiet and chill landlord! Would take that any day over a fancy complex.

My fiance and I recently moved and were in a similar situation where we had an overlap of about 2 weeks, and it was SO helpful knowing that we didn’t have to rush and there wasn’t going to be one specific super stressful moving day. I know not everything is as lucky but that definitely made this the easiest move of my life. 😂

Nice house! I get why people use turff but it's so bad for the environment-you are basically just covering the ground with plastic, it's hotter and so much less functional than grass. I hate that schools are replacing grass with plastic turf everywhere...oh well.
