you could use an umbrella storage bin for the wrapping paper since they're made to hold taller but thin things that same size!!

For your hanging clothes put them in a garbage bag still on the hanger and wrap the strings around the hooks. This will protect the clothes in the move you just take them out of the garbage bags and hang them straight in the closet without having to rehang them!

Im a baby boomer who grew up in the 70's hippies age. I wished I would have saved more from those days because they are like valuable pieces of history & it is so fun to look back on a few items saved. Plus they resell for hundreds , sometimes even thousands of dollars. I would keep the jacket if it were me. And maybe even a couple of more pieces or shoes/boots. So happy for yalls new house!

Keep the jacket, it clearly holds a sentimental value. No one has to understand why items hold meaning. Also, it is small enough that it isn’t contributing to clutter. You can put it in a memory trunk, get it made into a bag, pillow, or quilt. I think passing it down to a future daughter would also be sweet!

I use my towels and linens to pack breakables and glassware! It’s a cheaper alternative but definitely did use some bubble wrap for a lot of my dishes the last time we moved to downtown Meridian. 💕 Thank you for sharing! This is sooo satisfying to watch!! Also fun to see the houses in our area!

I use one of those shallow, plastic shoe storage bins with a snap on lid for my gift supplies and it’s great! It helps me keep extra cards, bags, tissue paper, ties, ribbons, rolls, etc all together.
