I just got my front squat to 100Lbs. I know it is nothing compared to what some of you guys are hitting, but I am proud of my self.

Good job mate, keep it up. You'll surprise yourself at the good steady increases you'll get on your front squat. One day you'll find yourself at 200 pounds and wonder how the hell you got there

TREE FIDDY EDIT: Also, thank you so much for your tendinopathy video. I struggled with golfers' elbow for years, avoiding chins and just sneaking around it. After only 2.5 months of focused rehab and strengthening of the tendon, I am finally doing chin negatives with weight, and I am ecstatic.

On my front squat, I did 32 reps in 5 sets @235 lbs. I'm going up 245 and spending 3 weeks to try and get to 30+ reps in 4 to 5 sets. That is how I am training them right now. First week do three sets, next week 4 sets, then 5. I might not get the 30 reps this time, and that is ok. Just a gradual taper. My legs have really been transforming with this method, and I'm already in set / rep pr territory. It's been effective! Lemme tell you, though, when I was doing sets of 10, I wanted to die 😂

Hey Alec !! Just curious how often do you Front Squat? I am working on them now and really want to get some insight on how often I need to train it to get some numbers going I am @ 135 x 3. Love the videos as always
@EnkiriEliteАй бұрын
if you want to make it your priority squat for the time being then you should consider doing it 2x per week. once you are more skilled at it and your technique is a bit more resilient, then you will want to consider doing front squat 1x per week with the back squat 1x per week to augment it.
@bjiffy10Ай бұрын
@@EnkiriElite Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I will do this.

you are gonna disagree heavily with this but I do them 3-5x per week but will stop once I hit 315-335 😂 and go back to 2x per week
