I feel like 1k views of this are from me 😂 I’ve listened to this on a loop for like 2 weeks now. Such a great song man. Instant classic for me. It just strikes me right in the soul, like when a song somehow takes all those thoughts and feelings you can’t put into words, and speaks them as fluently and vividly as poetry. It makes me think of my younger days and nights I’ll remember (whether they’re good or bad memories) and nights I got so high or drunk I’ll never remember but know in my soul some of them were amazing nights I wish I could remember, but also the revolving door of knowing I’ll be back to making bad decisions and may end up right back on those drugs that have followed me all my life.

@@min4698 Yeah I take the meaning of the lyrics as sort of a push and pull between his rationality of drug use and long nights of bad decisions but the drugs make you not care so much (no guilt/it’s fucked up I feel this way), then trying to stop and living a healthier lifestyle (download a meditation app/feel a little better bout where my life’s at), but then not liking himself for what he’s done on drugs, or not liking who he is when he’s not on drugs because you have to face those memories and feelings head on, and ultimately getting back into drugs to forget again and numb the pain (hate myself and get back into drugs again). Then ultimately wishing there was a quick fix to make it all go away and go back to what you remember life being like before you started doing drugs and making those decisions (fumigate the whole damn place make me feel innocent again) Could just be my projection though because it’s exactly how I’ve felt and lived for the past 14 years. This song hit me deep in my soul haha if that’s not obvious by this comment 😂 sorry for all the words
