Apparently ToF SHOULD have a redemption arc of some sorts but who knows. WuWa is run by Kuro, and Kuro are f*cking AMAZING. If anyone knows anything about PGR (Kuro's other game) its probably the combat is great and the game is VERY F2P friendly.

@@midnighttea0 powercreep happened in Fontaine, there noone who could surpass Furina, Neuvilette and Arle. Yes, there is Shilo, but she only refines some parts. Other characters are mostly niche. So nope, this isn't HSR way. There are at least two male characters since 5.0. Not much, but honest work. Overall Natlan story was weaker than Fontaine and on par with Sumeru. Funny thing, for me main downfall happens because of the most basic thing: game engine. After Wuwa, even after ZZZ you can see how Genshin is getting older. They squeeze as much as they can, but unless they manage to switch game engine, they won't be able to keep up. Wuwa 2.0 as far as I can see is not a flop, we have ex-Mugen in the queue and Genshin - let's be honest - hit another common gacha game problem: story progressed too far for new player to enter and check the game. So both player count and income will steadly decline unless they find a way to encourage people to explore game that has been developing for 4+ years.

Honestly, I can't play Wuwa (computer constantly says fuck it. It happened like 5 times) but I can play Genshin. It got tiring to the point where I plan to build all my characters n then give it to a friend or someone else. But I only played Wuwa for an hour before my computer said fuck it n it was beautiful, I'm not exaggerating. It honestly felt like a breathe of fresh air. Some companies do have penalties (either legal or financially) for stuff you can use inside and outside the company… but again it’s on the fine print when you sign contract. This is why a lot of people are strongly encourage to read the fine print. If he can prove that he hasn’t broken a clause of that contract that had to do specifically with stuff done outside of the company… then he in theory can fight that and not listen to Hoyoverse. I’m assuming that the no streaming WuWa (or any other competitor) is to prevent this whole discourse of comparing the 2 games and people talking ill of genshin which can affect sells… Again thats just a theory, because I don’t know what he agreed to when being sponsored by hoyoverse. Edit: this is an extremely general type of info that I’ve seen from many different companies, organizations and heck even in College papers… I strongly in courage people to look into this type issues to be more informed…

After the community slow down, and WW and other hoyo own games got released, we get less and less new players in GI. And with it, less creator and less helpful players too. So it boils down to a crowd that has many toxic players, and people who invested too much and was suffering hard from sunk cost fallacy, who now feels it's WW and those other games' fault that GI slowed down (nah, mostly the inazuma wall, I personally was so burned out after inazuma that I cant force myself to play natlan anymore), and that they have a duty to defend GI and shit on all other. Also, reddit is pretty similar with youtube, maybe even worse. In what way? Someone posted a video longer than 1 minute? Half of them aint going to watch it, the other half will stop at the second minute. They'll be there just to comment. That's why there're people who would say he's wrong then say exactly what he said. And, what? You think gachagaming is the worst sub? Nah, it's not even close. There are A LOT of QoL since then and I probably miss only presets and "discarded" category for artefacts. Game became more swift, it doesn't take much time to play when you don't want to because of exploration points, etc. If you consider Natlan story quest being a just promotional quest for Mavuika then you either watch only trailers or read by blocking space button and making tea while Paimon yaps. I can't say it has mesmerising depth in it (imho, endquest of Fontaine was much better), but Mavuika is probably least interesting character in it. Lore, Ranova, Captain - there were too much more.

@@Grofindar English isn't my first language, but I think you've simplified what I said or understood things I didn't say. I'll try to be more precise then. Did I say there was no QoL? I said why isn't Genshin trying to catch up with the others. That doesn't mean there aren't any, it just means that Genshin still isn't up to the task. Yes, you can use exploration points (and I use them a lot) but the problem with resin is still there. Why always limit condensed resin to 5 and not increase their limits? For example, you have to wait certain days to farm materials for characters and weapons, ok. So let me stock the most resin to farm when I need it. On HSR and ZZZ you don't need to follow a schedule and excess energy stck up. If I miss a few days, I don't feel cheated or have to wait until Sunday or next week to farm materials. When I say that it's become bland compared to the others, that doesn't mean that it's bad but that I find too many negative points that make me appreciate the positive aspects of Natlan less. I enjoyed the sidequests and tribal quests much more (although some of them were bad too) because they tried to connect with the characters or introduce us to their world and traditions. The AQ did this very badly and just tried to find an excuse to integrate the Mc into the Natlan battle to justify his presence with Mavuika at the end. In the lore and the sidequests, we discover that there were many other foreigners who were part of Natlan's history or are just as important in their lore. But this is non-existent in the QA, it seems as if the characters don't know their own histories and act as if the Mc was the first stranger to help them in Natlan's history. And yes, Natlan's quest provided a lot of interesting hidden lore for the player (Ronova and Capitano interested me more than anything else in the end), while the characters gave the impression that they didn't really care about anything more than that. I liked the fact that the NPCs from the sidequest were implemented in the last part to make a bound between our progression in Natlan and the story. But the narrative of this quest has always been built around Mavuika to show that she is the strongest, that she is always right and that she succeeds in all difficulties. She's a Mary Sue, a flawless superman. She was never wrong, she was never afraid, she never doubted and everyone was on her side. It wasn't the power of friendship that worked, but the power of belief. We just followed a plan and a prophecy without ever having a moment of doubt or someone to point out another possibility. Even Capitano's plan didn't put the brakes on Mavuika's plan because it awakened Ororon. And when there was a difficult situation, Capitano or Mavuika would intervene like an angel to resolve it. Besides, what's the point of awakening the chosen ones from each tribe if they're not going to fight alongside her as they did 500 years ago and just stand back and pray for the Mc and Mavuika? It's just to show that Mavuika is the strongest, the Mc's presence is an narrative excuse to show her doing badass things like we saw since the beginning. So yes, I think the story was falsely epic and made Natlan's characters too simple and docile for a nation of war. In all the regions, the characters had personal motives in their lives or points of view that enriched the story. Here, everyone followed the same objective and agreed to leave everything to Mavuika without flinching or questioning their roles. I loved seeing Kachina evolve at the beginning of the story and Chasca live with her grief. Unfortunately, it seems that only they have changed a little. Stop thinking that we can't be critical without having read or looked at things consciously. Did I say that people who enjoyed it are idiots or have no taste? No, so don't say I spent my time pressing a button without reading. I said I liked the region but not the characters. We all have different views and tastes, but don't make such crass prejudices when I'm giving a simple opinion (which I certainly haven't developed) but which isn't just unjustified criticism.

Depends on the subreddit tbh. About 3-4 years ago in r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks i feel like that place is one the least toxic place compared to general twitter, Tik tok or even youtube. We purely talk about the game like story, music, gameplay, QoL, new mechanics, leaks, predictions, etc while other places busy with drama content creators, politics, grieving, review bombing, clout chasing, meta toxicity. Of course there are still some toxic people who likes to doom post on new characters or being crazy about meta however the mods there are quite strict so these toxicity usually don't appear so often. I don't know how it is today since i quit playing for more than 2 years ago.

If you are referring to the JP cc, basically what happened is: - Streamer have leaks channel in their dc server, that was during 1.0, mihoyo doesn't comment on leaks thus making ccs thought its fine - V1.4 hoyo said no leaks please, the streamer oblige, and thus the leaks channel is inactive.. Keyword INACTIVE not deleted - Hater report the said streamer to hoyo saying this streamer still shows leaks - Said streamer got removed from genshin cc without any notice or discussion - Said streamer tried to explain their side to no avail, until their friend help rebuild the communication between said streamer and hoyo sides - Said steamer is back on genshin cc, but didn't get the access to testing server thus limiting their content creation - Said streamer also didn't get invited to events in jp while all his other friends did, making said streamer feel even worse More story but this is basically the summary about said streamer with genshin

@@robeeeeeck24 That is true, but as mentioned before, hoyo was fine at first during 1.0, so all CC did that.. well.. can't really blame them.. free content you know.. but while other CC deleted the leaks channel, this streamer forgot about the existence of said channel as it is inactive already.. once again.. not saying the said streamer is completely innocent.. just saying that the fact that said streamer didn't receive any warning or notice, as well as being ghosted by hoyo staffs when trying to explain.. that's just unprofessional and petty
