The HP Ipaq RZ1710 - "disposable" Pocket PC

Well this is an underwhelming experience: the cheapest Pocket PC in the HP line-up, and to make matters worse, this example is not even fully functional. Nonetheless, it is a gadget that sometimes draws interest, so I figured I should give you my take on it. Enjoy!

Sure, it is the cheapest iPAQ, but at least it still holds up better and is way sturdier than the old Compaq iPAQs, in my opinion :) I have a mint condition one and it works really great

That might be true, actually. As big of a die hard Ipaq fan as I am, I still haven't sampled the old school pre-HP era IPAQ's. Planning on it, though. Also, i made a second video with another 1710 that I got, you should check that one as well.

​@@techbytech85 Sweet, I love single-digit priced iPAQ findings! My best deal so far were two h1940s for 4€ each. The seller said they wouldn't turn on, but it so happens they didn't know that the iPAQs require the 5V adapter plugged in to the sync cable, so now I have two fully working, almost mint condition h1940s :) wish I could get another rz1710 for cheap, I love its compactness and the fact that it has 2003SE, which is IMHO a sweet spot in the way that it still retains the old-school look, but has plenty of software support
