I am very happy y'all enjoyed this song and video. I have been a big fan of Lzzy Hale and Halestorm for over 10 years. I thought then that she was the best female rock singer in the world and my opinion has not changed. She is also one of the best human beings in music. As someone has mentioned, she was very honored that Lovebites named themselves after one of her songs and she went out her way to support Lovebites when they were both at the same festivals. There are a few videos on KZbin showing Lzzy and Asami singing Love Bites (So Do I) together. Most recently, Lzzy has become a mentor to the three sisters of The Warning (is The Warning on your list?). Halestorm and The Warning toured together last year and at one of the concerts Lzzy surprised Dany with a new guitar. As for The Hu, they are such an unique band. The Mongolian throat singing is mesmerizing and they are great musicians. Hi Dan! How are you? We're glad you liked you requested episode! We loved it! Thank you! I (Itai) have been familiar with Lzzy for a long time, but I have not listened to as much Halestorm as perhaps I should have over that time (might be time to get into the band again). Having said that, I agree about Lzzy voice. I, too, rate her as one of the best female rock singers around. She's a powerhouse! And we are loving the Lovebites connection and hearing about what she is like as a person, it makes her even more likeable. As for The Hu, we are definitely intrigued and hope that there will be more interest in the band by our audience. We have a few requests for their songs and now added 'Yuve tuve Yu' to the list, so hopefully we'd be able to get back to them in the near future. Such an intriguing style. We loved it! Hi Guys! You may already know this, but in case you don't.... Lovebites got their name from the Hailstorm song "Lovebites (and so do I)." In fact, Hailstorm is Asami's favorite band and has actually sung with them on stage. As far as the Hu goes... they have several really great songs that I hope you'll react to in the future. Hi Ralph! How are you? Yes, we know about the Lvebites-Halestorm connection, probably from comments on earlier LB episodes (maybe it was you who mentioned it?). It's very cool. As for The Hu, we have a few on the request list, so we'll hopefully get to them if there will be more interest in the band. So far, this episode has underperformed but we will give it more time and see when it will be time to try another song of theirs. We really liked the song and are definitely intrigued... Late with this but here’s some stuff I read. Mongolia was never conquered. 30% of the people are nomadic. One of the men in a bandanna in the video Wolf Totem is (was) the president of Mongolia. It’s the most sparsely populated country except maybe some oddities like islands. Watch Wolf Totem. Trust me. You like. 😊
