Such an interesting band. That throat singing, those traditional Mongolian instruments. The combination with Lzzy Hale's voice is just golden.

Now do you get why it's Song OF women, not For Women? It's about women, not for them. This is a powerful song and you did it justice. Great analysis David! I just wonder what Mrs. H would think of this song......

Glad you liked it! Everything fits perfectly together in this song. Lizzy's voice is very underrated and beautiful and works so well with the Hu and their unique sound. Awesome.

Lzzy Hale was the woman who Floor Jansen mentioned when asked about her favourite female singers/performers. I can see why. What a stunning song and performance.

Great reaction/analysis This song to me one of the most beautiful songs I've heard this year. Although my feels went to all of the above category. Loved just the sound and structure of the music and vocals even though I didn't know all the how/whys of it, then the lyrics were really great for the subject. It was a brilliant collaboration.. Thanks David !

This song was on the hu album, I don't believe they changed anything for this version. It's about some sort of femine god in their culture. They later went to Lizzy later and asked her to write her part for this colab. This is so good. Also there is one fan cam video of this being performed live with Lizzy. The audio actually really good and sounds just as good live

Unfortunately they did indeed change for this version. They took out Jamba's guitar solo which was one of my favorites! It was so beautiful! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXWWk2RnisyGrK8 Begins precisely at 5:20

I absolutely love Lzzy Hale, this is a great song with the HU, it was a pleasure hearing it for the first time with you. I got introduced to Lzzy when she did the collaboration with Lindsey Stirling and "Shatter Me" another great song. Love your Reactions David, keep it up!!

Thanks Dave! What a great collab.... just elevated Lzzy to another level! The imaging on the MV really tug at the feels. Her reinterpretation of the lyrics is beautiful! The tribal feel under her soaring vocals... sublime! Just thanks.

It's perfectly alright to cry to this, bro. I had a hard time seeing the video through the tears the first fifteen or twenty times. It's _powerful._ It touches something deep and primal in us.

I’ve recently discovered the Hu and I was very much blown away by there tribal throat singing and traditional instrumentation but OMG add in Lzzy Hale and this was amazing , like you my friend I was getting choked up. I love collaborations that on the surface don’t look like they will work but when you listen you say this was awesome. Great reaction my friend and Rock On

Love that you picked this one. I was a blubbery mess when I first listened to this, too, don't worry. You just can't dodge it, I'd say. :) Getting emotional =/= being any less manly, never forget that. It's about time we kick that stigma in the arse.

Btw I appreciated you naming the instruments. I learn things when I hear your reactions. Don't change the way you react because people said you were a know it all. Give me a break. If you didnt share your knowledge it would be like almost other reactors. Thats why most of us are here. Because you have a special perspective. And all those giving you a hard time are watching you because they like your reactions. Ignore them..they need to get a life

Your rhythmic analysis is the best I've heard, but not quite spot on. The song is in 3/4 for most of the song except for the last part. That's actually a 4/4 over a 6/8. 3/4 is for slow stuff, 6/8 is for up tempo. Great job none the less!
