This version of "Shireg Shireg" is my favorite because watching that elegant bowing is mesmerizing, and the bare-bones instrumentation really lets the subleties of the vocals shine. The only thing I miss from the CD version is the clink of the horse tack, but that's just because I love the walking-horse rhythm of this song. Still amazing to me that such a complete tapestry of sound comes from only seven strings total. Hearing this live is now a bucket-list item.

I stumbled across these guys randomly I don't know maybe a couple years ago. This was the song that I heard first. I don't speak the language. I live in the United States I mean I speak english. But I'll tell you something........ Not maybe I don't know 2/3 of the way through that first verse my eyes were welling up with tears.
