Direct quote from Lzzy Hale: “I was given an opportunity to do something very unique. Mongolian Rock Band “The HU” brought me into their world to write melody and lyrics to an already existing song of theirs called “Song of Women”. They educated me about their culture and the meaning behind their song…and asked me to take that subject matter and write a brand new song from my personal perspective overtop of their existing music and melodies. So I did, and it was one of the most heart-filling, spiritual projects I’ve ever been a part of! To me, the song of women is a very important reminder to the world that all things start and end with women. Our happiness, our pleasure, our wonder, our beauty, our strength, our faith, our love, our freedom, our light, our dark… our existence. We are the universe wrapped in skin. Thank you so much to The HU for including me in this beautiful project, and for trying to teach me how to throat /overtone sing! I promise I will practice!“- Lzzy Hale

Great musician but "To me, the song of women is a very important reminder to the world that all things start and end with women." 🤣 The universe was around long before any woman or man was and it will likely be around long after we're gone. That's just silly. Kinda vain too.

She touches the band members and holds onto the guy’s arm. You can see how much they all love her like a lover, sister, mother, daughter. Women are so special and precious and have been discriminated against for most of human existence. However, I saw a sign in a women’s nightclub in LA that said “For a woman to get as much credit as a man she must do twice as well. Fortunately, this is not difficult.” Luv ya sweetie.

Today on the day of this premiere, it has been 17 years since my mother passed away. When we grew up we didn't have a lot of money, living off a bare minimum. But our parents put everything aside, including themselves, to give my brother and I a good live and put us through school. That is the love from a father and a mother. So I understand your emotions. Cherish your mother.

More Halestorm you would like them as well her lyrics are fire and she rewrote the song and The Hu don't do the whole let's translate thing as Mongolian is super different from English. So the Lyrics in this song are her lyrics just based on what the song is about well-empowering women I love modern metal so many women were a great addition to the scene boys left to our own demise well the dark ages lol. Only sort of true actually big contributor was a woman one of the worst mass murders of all time she was bad you will find her if you look up the highest death toll of mass murderers of all time she leads to Scottland yard forming and police forces around the world and prison reforms she plunged the world economy was she not only a crazy mass murderer that hated other women and was lesbian in a time where it was not accepted probably adding fuel to the fire. She controlled most of the world's wealth at the time she was the Jeff Bezos of the early 1400s it's one of those never forget stories like Hitler like holy hell how things can get messed up fast for the whole world just from child abuse and lack of community support. Yeah, this song gets me all like the history of the women's movement nerding out crazy interesting probably one of the most interesting times in history is from 1300 - 1800 so much happened and a lot of progress and by women world leaders in this time as a result as well. Cathrine the Great with education reforms freedom of the press and speech her and Victoria's super close relationship as close as a family could be cousins but were like sisters changed how war and peace was handled.

I wonder if this is a callback to our ancient cultures, that were often matrilineal. The cultures that many our recent ancestors had taken away from us by the invading patriarchal empires of fairly recent history.
