Good Morning Sue and Jeff. Yes, they are from Mongolia. Glad you found The Hu. Saw them open for Halestorm , they are awesome live. Mongolian throat singing combined with rock/metal and Mongolian folk music. Using traditional Mongolian instruments and standard guitar, bass ,and drums. 🐺,The 2 string being played with a bow is a Morin Khuur or Horseheads Fiddle. The 3 string being played like a guitar is a Tovshuur. 4 members and 4 touring members. Gala and Enkush on Morin Khuur and throat singing. Jaya -throat singing, Tumur Hhuur (jaw harp), Tsuur (end blown flute) Temka -Tovshuur 4 touring members: Ono -percussion Jamba -guitar Davaa -bass Odko -drums. Wolf Totem is one of several that they had redone with new English lyrics and guest singers, in this case with Jacoby Shaddix(Papa Roach). Try Song of Women with Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Yuve Yuve Yu, original or with Danny Case(From Ashes to New), or their latest single, Black Thunder with Serj Tankian(System of a Down) and D.L. from Bad Wolves. So glad you guys finally got to this one! Knew Wolfman would find it interesting. They are Mongolian. They have done some collaborations with American artists, including Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, you might wanna check out. A scuttlebutt was originally a cask of freshwater on a sailing ship. Not sure how it garner its current meaning, unless it was like the original water cooler -people standing around it to gossip. And not making McDonalds properly is definitely worth getting upset about. Love y’all!

Stuff I read: Mongolia was never conquered. Over 30% of the people are nomadic. The president of Mongolia is (was) one of the bikers in a bandanna. It’s the most sparsely populated country in the world except maybe some oddities like islands. It’s a lot of fun to watch you two.😊

In the days of sailing ships kegs were called butts (nothing else implied). To scuttle was to deliberate sink a ship or boat. Like to deny them to an enemy. The boats usually by breaking a hole in the bottom. A scuttled butt was an open keg of water for the crew where a lot of gossip was exchanged.😊
