That instruments is called a morin khuur and they are, indeed, throat singing. You should definitely react to more songs by them! A lot of people have suggested Yuve, Yuve, Yu, but I also love The Great Chinggis Khan (the correct spelling of Ghengis Khan), as well as their version of Sad But True. Anything by them really!
@kelleeholmes94483 жыл бұрын
Genghis Khan who I love as well, has been handed a bad rep as an evil man, but those are by people of today's society, not realizing what a different world it was in the 1100's. If they did research before judging this man, they would find that if his enemies surrendered, he was quite lenient, he wanted unity among all Mongolians (correct me if I am wrong) instead of multiple tribes. If the tribe surrendered then they were now part of Genghis Khan's army (which was bad ass) If they didn't want to surrender, well then they were going to fight you to the end and would never back down, and they were going to come at you hard with no mercy, but he did always give the option, he didn't just slaughter them like they want us to believe. I love how they honor him with this video, showing they are still the same strong Mongolians, that will fight you to the end. They wont start trouble, but if you want to bring it to them anyhow, they'll bury you....lol One of my favorite videos is from the movie "The Rise of Genghis Khan" it's a clip of a tribe going against Genghis and it's to the song Wolf Totem. It's pretty bad ass if you want to check it out. I'll put the link here. You'll notice that Genghis only sends out about 35 riders against the 200 that are riding towards them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIS9pnmfbs2ngqM

Ghengis Khan was incredibly tolerant. Every nation/tribe he conquered he didn’t force them to change their religion or culture. Every group under Ghengis’ rule kept their cultural identity. You can count on one hand how many Emperors in history have ever done that for their subjects.

What would be more terrifying? The Mongol Hordes cresting the nearest hill on horseback or on Harleys? . Not sure of the Mongolian name, but it's a horse-head fiddle. Designed to be able to mimic a horse's whinney. . Yes, the fiddle player in black is doing Mongolian throat singing, while the one in brown is practicing a more Tuvan style, with the overtones. . The version they did with Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach is even better. . Chinggis is Genghis Khan, btw. This was a traditional battle chant of the Golden Horde, one of the larger divisions that split off from the overall Horde after Genghis died.

Imagine a column of 10,000 guys like this on horseback, cresting a hill with the first light of dawn on their backs, and suddenly they spur their horses in to a charge. It looks like a dam breaking and watching the water come rushing right at you. For a brief moment, a cloud seems to block the light from the sun; except clouds don't generate a rustling sound when they move. The sound builds, and it isn't until the first arrow whips past your head and plants in to the chest of a guy behind you that you realize it was just a massive barrage of thousands of arrows that had shaded your eyes. Men around you scream as they're impaled, and fall to the ground. From behind you, you hear someone yell, but can't quite make out the words over the cries of the wounded. Then, a cacophony of yells convince you to spare a glance rearward, and that's when you see them; tens of thousands more riders are sweeping in from either side. Some men closer to the rear of your formation panic, and start to run. They don't make it far before a wall of men, and horses, and steel crash in to them. Men are run through with lances and trampled under hooves. It looks like there is a gap though, and many soldiers try to make a break for it. However, they won't get far. They'll realize the gap they thought was their salvation was just another trap. Mongol riders pick them off a few at a time, preferring to isolate small groups that can be more easily overwhelmed than if everyone had just stayed together. "God's punishment" had arrived, and soon the kingdoms of the Kievan Rus would all be swallowed up by the mongol empire. They accomplish what both Napoleon and Hitler couldn't; conquer Russia in a campaign that lasted through winter. All to the sound of "HU! HU! HU! HU!"

Why should be removed? It's part of the history, it happend and it can't be deleted.
