This gem is part of Paul Allen's collection at the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum in Everett Washington. She is not a combat veteran but all the same she did a full tour of duty. Assembled as construction number 763 she is a very early model Huey. Built in Fort Worth Texas in January of 1964. By February she was on her way to Germany where she worked until 1969. She shipped back to the States and spent the remainder of her career stateside until retirement in 1976. She was then donated to a school until 1990 when she was sold to a civilian company. It is unknown what she did until 2014 but that is when Paul bought her. She was sent to Aircraft Restoration Services in Merrieta California for a very nice restoration to static display condition. She is not airworthy.
