FYI, the hand on shoulder is a defensive technique for melee range and it also doubles as a stabilization in case your target attempts to egress. The one above your head is a blind fire stance for cover.

@@blackburn1489 the new rework to the recoil system. The ability to vault over and onto objects. The new map is very fun. The new rework to the armor system where each section of the armor has plates and its own unique hit box. It’s basically more friendly toward lower lvl players now. Chads have a chance at getting killed easier. All high tier ammo is mostly found in raid now and more scarce.

@ Drew regarding a question in this video: ok boys so I dont play this game and I could be wrong about the dev intention but . . . at 28:30 ish you are asking about a pistol hold where the non dominant hand is placed on the dominant arm`s shoulder - in real life this position is used to cover your vital organs in a zero or little armor situation (home defense stuff), I cant confirm if thats what Tarkov intended for it to do but Im guessing if they did their homework that` should stop or reduce damage to the vitals from any pistol caliber weapon /buck shot and divert it to the arm, its not pretty but it has its merit.

what you said about "pro active positioning" in the intro is exactly how I feel this wipe. no longer do I see a chaded up player and think "damn, guess ill let him pass" no I can shoot his neck and armpits to take him down. dont complain how your weakpoints are more open and the instant kill zones have gotten bigger, utilize armors with more coverage and position yourself better. you should adapt to this wipe, and I sure dont want to hear anyone complain about laser beams because i am not going back to the old system.
