Simply not true. It was a massive hit when it was released and is still very highly regarded now. It went to number 1 on it's release and spent 71 weeks on the British album charts. It's sold nearly a million copies in the UK alone.

Coincidentally ThePolice released Ghost in the Machine just before The Human League released Dare.Both albums had a track called Darkness.Both were outstanding but very different indeed.Its 50/50 for me, you be the judge.
