For Pak, one can say it was a military humiliation, 93K soldiers made POWs, land was lost, and GDP cut off. Now, lets analyze in retrospect. It is well documented how galantly Pak Forces fought in the given circumstance. This is even backed by Gen.Manekshaw's personal account and several authors. 93K soldiers were won dimplomatically by ZA Bhutto from Indira on a cup of tea after failed talks. Lastly, creation of Bangladesh was inevitable, elections of 1970 proved it, Military action just accelerated it. Now tell me what India achieved?

In 1947, Sam Manekshaw was migrating to Pakistan 🇵🇰 but due to some reason stopped in Punjab. and in 1971 he was asked by a Reporter what if You fought in 1971 against India 🇮🇳. Sam answered in seconds:- India would have lose that War.

Forget about being promoted as Field Marshal in Pakistan.He wouldn't be allowed to serve in the army .Sikhs are known to serve in the army in a higher proportion regardless of the country.How many Sikhs do you find in Pakistan army in these 74 years?.Just one so far.So I don't think it would have make any difference for India in the war if Sam would have migrated to Pakistan.
