Same. Hungary always seems to be very loyal to whoever it's allied to in my games as well. Usually they end up becoming a vassal of the Byzantines in my game, but after I free them from their Byzantine yoke, achieve a ceasefire, and patch up relations with them, they stay loyal to me as well.

​@@HangrySaturn This is a reference to the fortress world Cadia from the Warhammer 40K lore. I can give you a few explanations as to what Cadia was: Cadia was a fortress world that guarded the material universe from the forces of Chaos on the other side of The Eye of Terror for 10,000 years or so. During the 13th black crusade of Chaos, less by Abbadon the Despoiler, Cadia was destroyed and the Eye of Terror expanded into the Great Rift. Basically Cadia was the fortress where the Impirium of Man pushed back the tides of Chaos, the parallelity here is that Constatinople was the city where the Byzantines held back the tides of the Turks and all other foes for centuries, and with its fall the Turks expanded into Christendom. The whole "Cadia Stands" thing is the saying that the Cadian regimant of the Imperial Guard adopted after the fall of Cadia, basically saying that as long as a single Cadian yet draws breath, Chaos has yet to fully bring Cadia down. The Cadian regiment is renowned for their relentlessness in battle and their ability to hold the line for as long as possible. The whole "The emperor protects" is another saying from the Impirium of Man. Basically in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, and the Impirium of Man is ruled by buerocrats and religious fanatics in Warhammer 40K. They had an emperor in the 30th millennia or so, but he dies fighting his son Horus. Ever since, his body is kept on the Golden Throne and over the time he became the subject of the Impirial Religion, he is now known as "The God Emperor", and the people of the Impirium believe he protects them, even in his current state, using his psychic powers as he battles in the Immaterium against the Chaos Gods. I hope this helped, and I would recommend watching some Warhammer 40K videos, not only about lore. The whole setting is extremely epic and fascinating

It depends on diplomat skills. Try to bribe cities with small garrison, or captains with just a few squads first. And, of course, keep a lot of money. If you have not enough money, those who you are trying to bribe will not even tell the price.
