In the book, Gale unconsciously pushed Katniss away because he was becoming more of a "warfreak" and vengeful of the Capitol. Katniss was more careful because she cared more for Peeta's safety. I think Mockingjay Part 1 captured the essence of that character shift perfectly.

I agree that he isn't much of a character in the movies, but I don't think it supports the love triangle. I think there was more of a triangle in the books, because you could understand him more even when he spoke or behaved harshly. In the movies there's just no reason to see him with Katniss. The actors Jennifer and Liam also don't have much of chemistry, not even much of a friendship vibe like you feel with the actor who plays Finnick. I think Liam may not be that great in this role. I don't know, maybe they're just writing it badly.

Gale and Peeta are like the two parts of Katniss. Peeta is like the more sensitive side of Katniss and Gale is the more cold, insensitive side of her.

Yeah,like is in the book. Katniss already have fire and anger inside of her, she needs somebody who can gives her hope, only Peeta can give that. In my opinion, Peeta's love for Katniss is unconditional, even if she doesn't choose him in the end, he's willing to be her friend and support her. Meanwhile Gale moves to district 2... ( i got his point, if was me i'll have moved too.) Peeta is selfless, especially when it comes to Katniss.

And even if he didn't, the feelings were always there, but once he saw what was going on with Katniss and Peeta he realized he had to fight for her.

That question that Jen had to answer. Pizza or Peeta? I would say Peeta and I could always have Hot Pockets, pepperoni and pizza bagels, pizza bites or pizza sauce. LOL. And if I had to choose one person to help me take down the Capital, it would have to be Dracula (also known as Luke Evans). The Dracula Untold version. He is fast and kills quickly and he does not need to have any weapons to kill. And if not him, I would choose Van Helsing (The Hugh Jackmen version). He knows how to kill when he needs to, plus he has awesome weapons and a smart friar to help figure out things when he can't. lol. And of course, Josh and Jen are like in their own little world together, no matter where they go. I can't wait to see the movie.
