Yep, that's basically the storyline here, Katniss made Haymitch promise her to save Peeta, and he failed her, epically, Peeta almost didn't come back from getting hijacked like that, not an easy thing for Katniss to forgive.

As a little child: I want to act! It would be so cool! Just....no romance scenes...please... As a teen, right now: welp. Never gonna happen. It would be cool but I wouldn’t be able to keep a strait face if I had to stare at or look in someone’s eyes. And kissing wouldn’t work either.
