@@zacharyhandke1915 not so much the genetics would matter. The health of the doe in uterus determines the potential of the buck for the remainder of its life. The genes for growing a big rack are still in the buck, but will forever be cursed if the doe is malnourished or unhealthy during pregnancy.

What a wild mixture of emotions. Towards the end I almost wanted to shed a tear. Incredible story, an amazing watch, and a magnificent deer. It felt like I was there throughout the years, experiencing the end of an era. It truly made me kind of sad, especially when you mentioned there being a void now. What a feeling that must have been. Well done!

I shot a 208 pound dressed 10 pointer last year on public land but there's a lot of private farms nearby so was well fed and probably why he was so big. Man the feeling of getting such a beautiful big buck was amazing and I had no idea he was in the area and just happened to come through where I was. I guess I got him before another hunter in the area got him because he was looking for him as he had him on trail camera for a while. Now the bucks I see in the area are pretty small right now but I'm letting them go to grow even if someone gets them I'd rather they get a nicer buck in a couple years if I dont get em.

Great short documentary of BEAMER AND YOUR Time together , great footage ..as Beamer gets bigger n bigger n older ..Its something alot of people don't get to witness .. almost like at this point in both yours and his journey ,. you can tell , it's a little like magic energies between the two of you (BC he does know you're there ..and you know he's there) ..your patience and stealthily watching him from young buck to old timer for a buck especially, It's a sad but best scenario for Beamer with the times , land n food changes coming in the world today .. I'm glad it played out to his older days to be taken ..I feel the special intertwining of your two lives in your filming .MUCH RESPECT TO YOU AND TO BEAMER ...GREAT JOB 360 !!!...🌬️🔥✨

great execution for the final result. I hunted a booner for 3 years in the 2000's only to have him poached 50 yards from a road. they took his head and left the rest of him for the coyotes, a sad end to a deer that deserved more. loved the devotion you showed to this story.

Amazing story of an old buck! Got them myself in WI and its something to treasure. Knowing Wisconsin like I do and hunting big Northwoods for as long as I have, only criticism is that this is not a swamp buck. So many pictures of him on a field it’s amazing! That is quite a luxury! Many of the bucks that I have hunted, never have seen a field in their life. Those are the true swampers. Amazing buck however and amazing story!
