The Hunt For Fossil Bone Continues, And A Trip To Whitby Museum!

You got a double hunt in this video, I didn't end up filming too much either day, so thought i'd mix them into one video.
With the last two days looming, I was determined to bring back at least one piece of marine reptile bone with me. I'm no where near as lucky as Liam when it comes to bone.
First trip was to Port Mulgrave, which I haven't stepped foot on for a number of years due to high volumes of collectors going there, though it ended up being one of my best days.
Second trip was back to Sandsend, where Liam, ONCE AGAIN, gets super lucky.
Afterwards we decided to head to Whitby museum as we had an hour or so to kill, you get to see some absolute stunning specimens, including one of the best preserved crocodiles, ever found on the whitby coastline.

Impressive haul Dan ,my daughter and I are hoping to get back to the Yorkshire coast for February half term, hopefully our paths will cross again!...looking forward to seeing that Phylloceras when you've prep'd it,I've only ever found pieces so far...🤞for next time. Great vids Dan, love seeing the finds and preps! A small tip is to get a plug in microphone for your phone that clips onto your neckline and you'll be able to get much better audio on the beach when it's windy! 😊

I really enjoyed the video, I can just imagine if I could go fossil hunting on them beaches I would be obsessed at collecting them all and then be over run with work , sorting, prepping and the like , but loving the obsession none the less , keep up the great work , peace 😎🌴

In a very small shed that i'm slowly running out of room with haha! It's a nice museum, though seriously needs a refurbishment. Everything is so poorly lit :(
