Fossil hunting Runswick to Kettleness

I take a trip fossil hunting to runswick bay and walk to kettleness and try to find some fossils. Ammonites, belemnites, marine reptile and even dinosaur bones !! Plus what ever comes up on the beach. In this hunt I find plenty of dacs and a few other nice fossils but unfortunately come across a beached whale which is a horrible sight.

Thanks for sharing this. Thinking about taking to Runswick this weekend. Not been before. Do you have to walk far towards Kettleness before you start finding nodules?

So sad to see that whale dead! On my last visit I saw one dead, it got tangled in fishing nets!😭😣😖😫🥺🙁

yup its a real shame, there are so many fishing vessels and rigs of our coast now from overseas it has a massive affect local marine life
