The Hunt For The Ghost Boar Hog Begins. I'm heading back out to go boar hunting with the dogs today. The dogs did great and at the end of our trip we encountered what i like to call the ghost boar! The big boar hog smells so bad you can smell him 50 yards away. The dogs got on him but this smart boar hog got away! He won't be doing that again!

Those dogs are damn good! Feral hogs are just not allowed in Montana. When they have gotten into an area, they have caused a LOT of damage! Our Livestock inspectors have had to hunt them. Mike, you are doing a great job!

Memo to hog trap makers: Is it really that hard to make a trap that's effective and that ALSO breaks down easily into smaller components?

There are 2 companies that I know of that does make a hog trap that breaks down, one is like a coral & the other is like an overhead drop trap that can be activated anyplace from home. The first I mentioned is around $1,200 each but a discount if you buy 2.& the other is a lot higher price, think around $4,500 each

Love your channel. But would like to comment on the trap weight. Ok I have been carrying heavy furniture for 30 years. Up to this time I have had 6 back surgeries with 4 fusions and in serious pain everyday. My comment to you to is wear a weight lifting belt now as soon as you can because ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HURT YOURSELF ONE DAY. and that’s all it takes is one slipped disc and then as you try to take care of it when you are lifting you hurt more. I know you think I’m crazy but I don’t want you 2 to have pain like me. I am stuck at home now and basically FUCKED. JUST SAYING 😎
